I love the value of the XINYIELE Waterproof Outdoor Project ABS Plastic Junction Box. These enclosures are sturdy, weatherproof (IP67 rated), and offer excellent protection against dust and moisture, making them perfect for outdoor projects.However, if you plan to house hazardous voltages inside, be aware that these enclosures don’t meet OSHA requirements as they can be opened without a tool. To make them compliant, you’ll need to plan ahead and attach a bolted clasp or similar mechanism to ensure they meet safety standards.Overall, these are a fantastic choice for most applications, but if you’re working with high voltages, be sure to take the extra step to ensure compliance and safety. Highly recommended for their quality and price!

I purchased this as a dust proof box for a VFD controller on a piece of woodworking equipment. The box is perfect for the application except there’s no ventilation so I had to drill a hole and use a small cooling fan with an n95 filter to draw air through it.

I'm using this as a waterproof junction box on my ATV. Nice gasket and good latches. Cheaper for this purpose than a Pelican box and comes with the waterproof connections and a mounting plate inside for components. Good anywhere you need a waterproof enclosure!

This box fits my A/C soft start like a glove. It's as if it was made for this brand. I did not need to fasten the soft start to the box as it fits in there nice and tight. Very well made, thick plastic and easy to punch a half inch hole for flex conduit. This could not have been any better for my project. Fastens well to unistrut also. Very weather proof, worth every penny!

Although the soft start I bought is weatherproof, I didn't want the Florida Sun shining through the clear cover and heating the guts. This was a perfect size. The built-in mounting panel inside is very versatile. I didn't depend on the two screws that normally hold it. I use the screws that mount the box through the back to help hold the panel inside. It made a cleaner mounting to bolt through the back rather than using the mounting brackets provided. Please note that although the brackets are stainless, the included screws are not so if you use them you may want to replace the screws with stainless. Having no built-in cable holes meant it was easy to add a whole exactly where needed using a step drill.

Lots of sellers selling these boxes but this one appeared to be the best value including the mounting and cable accessories. My only gripe is some of the dimensions didn't include the cover and its internal depth. So it end up a bit larger than I needed. I also wish these boxes had one sized like 8x8 or 7x7. To get the width I needed I had to get one much longer.

Perfect size! Nailed it 100%The buid quality is amazing. Built to last.Well it was waterproof but my project involved cutting and drilling some holes into the side. See images.I have a small camp external battery that is weather resistant. But I didn't like the idea of rain getting places it didn't really belong.So I used this box to install with amazing ease after I removed the handle and rubber padding from the battery first. Then installed the handle of the batter to the back of the box with the metal adapters included with the box and now have a portable more riggesized already rugged camp battery protected even more by this awesome project box.To make my project function as close to normal I made openings to allow 3 USB plugs and a 12vlt input and one 12volt output hole so I can connect what I need.I then used clear packing tape to form drip rails around the openings I made.The box will not be exposed directly to rain or weather as it is meant to sit in front of the Bluetooth speaker I tow behind my wheelchair. See image for the size.The area in front covers the box with a slide up fabric audio transparent door and plastic corrugated cardboard over the top and sides along with vinyl flooring used as sides as well as the floor under the box.The box functions perfectly with its easy to use D flip clip locks.The wires will exit out of the box with about 3 inches to the connection points on the battery.The wires will all slope downwards so any water that sneaks in will not follow them into the box and battery.The fitment of the battery is so snug it holds itself inside the box and you need to actively pull it out. Like I said a perfect fit.The box will be gently squeezed into place thank to the flexible nature of vinyl flooring that is the front lower wall of the enclosed space.Totally recommend this box for projects.There is a great chance I might be getting more of these later.

It's perfect for my particular application. It's the right size and seals up completely waterproof. The case is rigid and should hold up well.
