The amount of force you need to get these to light is much higher than with other matches. My first attempt took ten strikes and resulted in the match snapping at the base of the pink part, and the friction paper you need to light the match actually tore. Additionally, these things DO NOT light when wet. What took ten strikes when dry didn't work even with twenty strikes while wet. I would say these things are a terrible waste of money, they aren't easy to use, and you should probably look at a ferro rod or some other type of match if you need matches.

These are not the greatest quality matches, but I think they would perform when it counts. As long as there is not an absolute downpour they will light. If I am ever in a situation where I need these, would want a higher quality waterproof match.

They burn for dry for about 7-8 seconds, wet 9-10. Took an extra second or two to get lit when wet. Better than regular matches, but not as good as the other main brand. The plastic holders are not waterproof. Push on, pull off, no threads

These are a bit smaller than I was expecting to begin with. They are a bit tricky, you have to hold it from the middle when you are striking the match initially. If you try to hold the wood part at the bottom, it will snap. However it works fantastically for getting a fire going. Highly recommend, and they come in these tiny cute little pill bottles that honestly you could probably refill with your own matches. They are very small bottles and do not take up any space.

Haven't used them yet so don't know if they're truly waterproof but the container is quite secure and keeps the water out in a submerge test.

Great deal matches are sturdy, and are easy to fit in a bug out bag, or pocket. I was able to outfit my 24hr, 72hr, and mess kit bags as well as some other bug out packs I have best bang for the buck

Be careful and be near water, they burn fast and still burn a lil in water
