Very lightweight, very comfortable with a great fit. Not for extreme cold hut enough to protect you from the elements and mild cold on some days.Hoodie ran true to size, so no complaints there either.

As a parent of a teen who loves hitting the slopes, finding the right “stylish” gear to keep the kid warm and dry during skiing trips is always a top priority. I’m happy to say, this jacket/hoodoe has quickly become his go-to outer layer. The softshell construction not only repels moisture but also blocks out wind, creating a cozy barrier against the cold. The fleece lining adds an extra layer of warmth without sacrificing breathability, ensuring that my son stays comfortable. If it’s extremely cold, he wears a layer underneath and it’s been more than adequate. Pouch and zipped pocket on the front are super handy! He has worn this every weekend skiing for months and I’m pleased to say that it has held up remarkably well and there are no signs of wear or tear after multiple outings. One of the features my son loves most about this hoodie is it's stylish and comfortable enough to wear casually around town or during other outdoor activities. It’s a bit on the room side but that’s his preference. This one is aim win!

High quality all around (zippers, water resistant)I also like the arm pit vents. It’s warmer then a regular heavy weight sweatshirt.

This is a great, comfortable hoodie. The fleece inner liner is soft and warm. The hood is just the right size for me. It is big enough to fit over a baseball cap, but not so big that it falls down on your face if you are not wearing a hat.The outer shell blocks the wind and repels rain. I'd rate this as a light duty raincoat for two reasons. First, the zipper in the front is not sealed so if rain is hitting you in the chest a little will leak through the zipper. Second, the elastic cuffs and waistband, although comfortable, are not waterproof and will soak up the rain. There is a nice big handwarmer kangaroo pocket in the front with zippers to close it up if you want. There is a separate pouch in that kangaroo pocket with its own zipper that is good for things like a cell phone. There is a weird pocket on the left sleeve. I'm not sure what I'd use that for. It is too small for a cell phone.I am 6' 2", 200 lbs and the XL size fits me just right.

Amazing quality that is super comfortable. Works great with any of his outfits keeps him warm, cozy and most importantly dry. This kid will never wear a jacket so a waterproof hoodie is a huge hit for us.

If it's 37 degrees, 90 percent humidity and foggy as heck, this cover-up will work well. Lots of room underneath to layer a thermal or fleece or whatever you wear to stay warm when you walk. You can probably get used to the sound of the material flopping around like a sail in the wind. I'm OK with it. For a few times in the chilly weather. But this piece will not be a regular garment for me. I would not recommend it if you're looking for a steady cover-up.

I haven't had a chance to test the waterproofness but, even if it doesn't do well in that, this is a nice pullover. I like the wide, elasticized cuffs and waistband to keep the drafts out. I like the length which falls well below the waist. I also like the zippered front pocket to securely carry items that may otherwise fall out when using the zippered hand warmer pockets to warm the hands. The collar of the hood comes up well over the chin and can be cinched down to a small opening if desired. About the only thing I would change is to make the cuffs a little snugger to better seal out drafts.
