Definitely does the job, just had my dog out in snow and mud, and his belly and chest are completely dry. Could do with having the velcro back strap being a little longer, but other than for it fits really well.

This is very good for the price and keeps the mud and wet off my dogs tummy exactly what I wanted . It's lightweight and easy to put on . It does exactly what it describes on description ! I have a small cocker poo and went for the small , it fits perfectly. Really recommend .

Our dog didn't like that it got a bit close to his bits..

While we’ve only used this a few times it is proving to be a great buy. We have a cocker spaniel cross who is rather low to the ground so his belly gets so dirty in the wet weather. We’ve bought numerous coats/ covers over the years but most have been a full fit with leg and back included which he really has disliked. This is easy to put on, leaves him feeling unecumbered and protects his belly which has proved a godsend for us his owners. Good value for money and does exactly as advertised

I live in a rainy location and have a dog very low to the ground. This means lots and lots of wrestling to dry wet bellies as soon as we get back inside, which is not exactly his favorite activity. Thus, this item was a perfect idea. Unfortunately, it is only partially effective in practice. The main issue is that the straps are not the same circumference. The strap that goes toward the front by the dog's chest is significantly wider/longer than the strap that goes around the belly area. Thus, getting the vest on the belly area was more difficult than the chest area, and then the belly area does not stay in place as the dog walks through the grass. It ends up pulling to the right, exposing his belly to the exact wet grass the vest was meant to form a barrier against.Perhaps you'll have better luck, but this one overpromised and underdelivered. Great idea, but suboptimal execution.4/10 would not recommend.

I have a low to the ground corgi and I thought this would be a life safer for the rainy season. It works to keep his belly dry from went ground but even though I ordered according to the size chart he still pee pees in it. May be better suited for a female dog… I love the idea and it seems to be a really thoughtfully made item, just not for us.

My JRT has short legs and as a result her belly is close to the ground, and often gets soaked in the grass when we’re playing at the park. This covers her belly well, but still allows her to have a wee, and means that when I put her in the car she’s not soaking wet (even a wipe down with a towel often doesn’t dry her off enough) and feels more comfortable. She can easily move around with it on, and it’s small and lightweight enough to easily fold up into a pocket. The material wipes clean/dry.
