I changed the Filter on my Navien heating system as required yearly. The price was reasonable and the filter was a perfect replacement.

This is my second Waterdrop product. I also have an under sink filtration system. This scale inhibitor is a must when installing a tankless water heater to prolong the life of your water heater. Others have reported leaks at the threads, but if you use a good amount good teflon tape & tighten appropriately, you should be fine. Other than that, nothing else I can report on until about a year when its time to flush out my tankless heating system. Eddie K out !!

Works the same as the 3M for less money. I was a bit disappointed in the finish quality (mostly the markings) of the stainless fitting, but it's cast stainless so I probably had too high of expectations. Would definitely buy this one again.

Our water is very hard (40 grains) and this didn’t help the mineral build up, especially in our kettle.

I installed one of these filters on the inlet to my tankless hot water heater. Prior to installing, my hot water would fluctuate between hot and cold. With the filter, my hot water is constant. Definitely worth installing!

First, it's a good product.Second, be careful with installation and don't use the Teflon tape they give. I suggest MegaTape or Blue Monster. Give it about 4 or 5 wraps. For good measure you could also add some Rectorseal 5 dope. Keep it all away from the first thread.Ideally, use stainless steel fixtures to mate to your plumbing. Probably a better fit, and less risk of corrosion with the same metal. Tighten one side first tightly, then do the other side. That should give you an excellent install

As others have mentioned on the side female threads they need a lot Teflon tape on the input fittings or it will leak trying with about six raps Nope still leaks, 10 - 12 which is over kill but hey no more leak I guess its because of the stainless steel fitting which is way harder metal than brass other than that the cartridge screws on good just be careful slowly threading it so you don’t cross thread the soft plastic Time will tell if it actually fixed the hard water issue
