Love it. Water tastes so much better and I was able to put away our bottled water dispenser. As for how long it will last, I can’t say yet. Has. It been in use for very long.

My family has been using this under sink filter for over 20 years with no disappointments. It is installed on the cold water supply and provides filtered water not only to the faucet but also to the refrigerator. Normally change it annually, would recommend changing it semi-annually for a family of four or more. I have not found a cartridge filter that exceeds the filtering capability of this product.

I almost only didn't believe it. When I removed the old filter. Check out the pictures, the new filter is pure white. I have been using this particular model filter for many years now. The one in the picture is only a year old, recommended to change every 12 month. Some people don't like the price, but what is the cost, of good health.

This product is wonderful I’ve been waiting for my husband for months to change the water filter and I was like ya know what screw it iam going to get under the sink and see what I could do so I looked at it got the brand name and the number of the product I went on amazon and typed it in and bam there it was the filter I needed I ordered it and the price was crazy great!!! So I get the filter in a day later and that I was 🥰 it, so I get under the sink I’am like I can do this well at first I forgot to turn off the water and got drenched but the GREAT NEWS was that the filter was the easiest thing ever to instal I couldn’t even believe it Myself really cause nothing ever goes smooth for me ...! So ladies and gentleman that are not the handy man this filter is sooo easy to instal seriously!!!! And thank you again Amazon for making my life these days that much easier !!!!

Update: 1-6-15 I have this piped to a dedicated faucet on my sink for drinking and cooking pasta and the like so it lasts a long time. I change it every six months regardless to avoid bacteria build-up.When I got to this page, I saw this old review of mine. The price seemed high and after reading reviews from the rest of you guys, I went to my email where I save all of my Amazon receipts and discovered that in May of 2013 I paid 15 dollars for this same filter. Purchased two and got free shipping to boot. I found a comparable .5 micron filter on Amazon and I'll be purchasing these instead at 13.14 each. I'm sure the taste will be excellent. You can't beat this filter for the money. My water tastes great. It removed the chlorine taste and smell.Our water is safe to drink in my town so I don't need super micro filtration for organisms, lead or other contaminants. But the back of the label states this unit filters down to .5 microns which is as good as many high-priced filters out there(not 5 microns like most cheapo filters). This filter does the trick and the volume is good too. It doesn't restrict water flow hardly at all. People who buy spring water or filtered water at the store are spending hundreds of dollars a year when all they need is a filter like this one.I could put this water into a Poland Spring bottle and no one would be the wiser. My "spring" water costs a couple of cents per gallon. I have it piped into my fridge as well for my ice maker.Write the expiration date on the label and tape it to your filter housing. Replace at 6 months or earlier depending on flow.
