Put these on last season and it deterred most birds. Unfortunately a different species of bird took to challenge it, not only this shiny object, but also my fake owl. Eventually the bird scooted its way towards my blueberries 🫐 and ate some. After that, it returned again and again. It didn’t wipe out my 4 little bushes but I can see a group of them would always challenge and scoot in to get a few berries.This year I’m just going full net. Gonna erect something that will go up above the blue berry bushes. My research shows this is the only guaranteed way of keeping birds and squirrels away. I’ll also add that this is a problem only on the things I plant more than 10ft from my house. All my other plants, like the ones in my raised beds and planters are fine close up to the patio. Those darn birds. When did they get so smart. Sigh.

I put 2 of these on each end of our front porch. It has kept birds away & off our porch. Wasn't sure something so simple would work but we've had these for quite some time now & bye bye birdies!!! Quality is a bit thinner than I expected but they're pretty to look at and do the job!

Although these are attractive to look at, as a deterrent to birds, they are completely useless. We put up three of these in our exterior entry to try to keep swallows from building nests over our front door. The next morning I observed a swallow actually perched on top of one of the spinners. Maybe it wanted a spin ride on the "deterrent" - hahahaManufacturer issued a refund. Obviously, a lot of other customers find the spinners effective as a deterrent. Maybe they’ll work better for you than they did for me.

It kinda works, but the birds just ignore these foils, no effect at all.

We have hung rows of these from the overhang of our sliding glass door. They haven't stopped all the birds from banging into it, but they've helped to reduce around 95% of them.
