Batteries have been amazing in holding a charge and Operating Sony HD NX-Cam for over 6 hours of Recording time!! Also Powers up 7in Camera Monitor for an Avg of 6 Hours per charge!! I have been using these Batteries for over 4 years now! CHARGER TAKES A GOOD 8 - 10 Hours to fully charge Batteries so Purchase 4+ Batteries in order to use while charger is doing it's slow job BUT Charges DEEP and LASTS!!

These work great for powering my Black Magic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K. The V mount batteries are way more expensive and heavier.I bought the Runshuangyu Movie Blackmagic Cinema Camera BMCC 4K BMPCC Power Supply Mount Plate Adapter for Sony NP-F970 Battery here on Amazon. Its pricey, but worth it compared to getting into the V mount batteries.

I purchased a pair of these for a pair Sound Devices 702s. I ran the batteries down, then gave the full charge. I ran one deck with lights left on for over 7 hours, the other ran over 8 hours with the lights off.I'm very pleased. Hope they stand the test of time, but so far they're great. Also, I've used Wasabi brand in the past with good results.

I got a couple led panels which gives me the option to plug in to the wall or battery power. On location shoot I depend more on batteries. And these batteries are really good and the price is perfect for me. And like previous reviews, downsize is they take 8-10 hours to charge. My next step will be to get a faster charge if it even exist. As long as you plan ahead and leave the batteries charging over night they'll be good. I used them on location the other day for a straight hour and I'm completely satisfied and that's after I tested them the day before for another hour.

I recently picked up a set of video lights that can be powered off a pair Sony NP-F. Needing six batteries to power the lights not counting spare batteries, the OEM Sony batteries were out of the question cost wise. So I figured I would try out a few different brands of NP-F970 batteries. Once I received that batteries I fully charged them with a Watson Dual charger. Next I used a professional diagnostic battery charger/discharger to run a few discharge/charge cycles on the batteries to determine there actual capacity. These Wasabi Power batteries average 6100mAh capacity. Far from the advertised 8500mAh capacity. Considering these packs are made with 18650 Li-Ion cells in a 2x3 series X parallel configuration, that would put each cell at a weak 2050mAh. Petty poor when the best cells are at about 3600mAh now. For comparison the same Powerextra NP-F970 batteries averaged 6200mAh of the 8800mAh advertised capacity and Kastar NP-F970 batteries average 7350mAh of the 8700mAh advertised capacity.

Just received these, but have used many other wasabi packs and have always been amazed by their performance for the price. With my Sony a6300 any battery other than OEM was dying fast for me and I was about to give up on inexpensive solutions until a friend pointed me toward wasabi. I honestly probably would have never tried a battery named after a condiment but I am glad I did! Every non OEM battery I purchase is wasabi now!

Work Well So Far... I had an issue with (1) of (6) purchased, but I think it came defective due to a drop; had some marks on it witness to that effect. Wasabi makes the best "replacement copies" of Sony batteries. Their reputation on Amazon is self-evident. If you've got sensitive electronics and cannot spend full price for the originals, trust me when I say that Wasabi Power is the best alternative. The cells are of very good quality. I am using it with my Atomos Shogun and these batteries are lasting 3 times longer than the stock batteries which came with my Shogun. They take up to 7 hours to get charged completely though, but that's expected because it's a huge 8,500 mAh battery. I'm very happy with the purchase. Atomos should simply supply Wasabi batteries with their video recorders.
