I know this says it's a cat comb, but this works amazingly well for poodles! It makes it so much easier to comb through her fur and get rid of mats. It leaves her fur fluffy afterwards. Highly recommend for poodle owners.

Works great! Now if my cats would let me comb them for more than a minute!

Get this if you have a long haired cat. I cannot believe how well it works to remove the hair. It does pull some, but that is to be expected. I cannot recommend this comb enough!

I bought this as a more affordable alternative to the Chris Christensen comb with the same name. This comb is high quality and works incredibly well. Even my fussiest cats who abhor being brushed/combed will tolerate this comb. An absolute must for doing some deshedding to prevent matting (and hairballs)!

I saw this originally on The Girl With The Dogs and she used it on cats as well as dogs. I have both, but my cat will shed and shed until you brush his fur off, I think. Maybe that's how cats are. It's annoying. But since I didn't want to actually make my cat bald, I decided to try this out and it really does make a difference for him. I can feel it separating the fur and getting out the only parts that need to come out, while leaving everything else behind. Cat loved it. Well, as much as a cat can love anything.I also used it on one of my dogs and she really enjoyed it. Then again, she enjoys jumping incredible heights just to see who's on the other side of the wall, so there's that. All in all, a very good tool.

I had never seen or used a carding comb before this. I have two cats, one with medium/long fur and another with thick short fur. This comb works great on my cat with short fur. I generally use a flea comb for his coat. This works as well as that does, but you can comb a much wider area with this. That helps because my cat is a big boy. I didn’t get as much fur off my longer haired cat with this as I do with his regular brush, but it still did a decent job. Both of my cats seem to enjoy the feel of being combed with this. I do like that it catches and holds onto all of the fur it loosens. The brushes I use don’t grip and hold all of the loose fur. When I petted my cats after using this comb, I didn’t end up with a handful of fur. The price point is kind of high for a pet comb, but the material does feel high quality. You can get the same or similar results with a flea comb that costs a couple of bucks, but it will likely take you longer to comb your cat with that. If you have a cat that isn’t very tolerant of being combed, you can cover more area in a shorter amount of time with this.
