This is so nice to have. It's built well and everything works correctly. I strongly advise mounting this to studs if you plan on hanging several bars from it, but it could also work as a holder with the bar resting on the ground, too. Overall a great addition to my gym and I'd recommend it.

While this is advertised for barbell storage, we ordered this to organize our cable machine attachments (ropes, v handle, straight bar, etc) as well as resistance bands. So while I can't speak for how it holds up for barbells, it does a great job of holding a variety of attachments, and the carabiners are a nice touch for bands and jump ropes.

This barbell hanger is made of thick steel plate. It is more than strong enough to hold a couple 45lb/20kg bars. Finish shows no damage and seems tough. Great buy.

This is a very thick and well built rack. It is quite complete and comes with both lag bolts and moly bolts. I appreciate the moly bolts but would think twice before mounting this purely in drywall. It even came with some nice carabiners. I’m not sure why, but I always appreciate carabiners for attaching accessory handles to the cable machine.

This is very easy to mount. I mounted it on wooden joists. Very sturdy and will hold a lot of weight. Comes with 5 caribeners that will be useful for storing ropes and other small items on the unit. Comes with all the hardware you will need to install, although the tiny level that they provide is essentially useless. Used my own level. They even give concrete mounting bolts, which I did not use. The finish seems very nice and smooth. The reason for 4 stars and not 5 stars is that the slots are too narrow. All my Olympic bars do fit on the unit, but one of my bars is slightly thicker than most, and it is a super tight fit. I also store some of my non-Olympic bars on the unit, and of course those bars would fall right through the slots. So I just keep one of the weight clamps on the hanging end of those bars and that keeps them from sliding through.

This gym storage rack seems beefy. I am not sure how it will work if you fill it up with barbell or other heavy items. You will need really good walls. I have drywall backed with OSB and I just used screws. The hardware supplied with the unit seems to be more for cinder block or concrete walls. I am sure it would hold a ton of weight if your wall anchors can stay put. I am using it to store some equipment from my bowflex.

This hanger is made from 3 mm (not quite 1/8") mild steel plate. It's solid for the advertised use. There are no sharp edges, the bends are good, and the holes are OK - a few have sharp spots remaining. One arm was just a little over-bent (like 88 degrees instead of 90) so I think it was probably dropped before it was finished. Not a big deal at all as it was easy to straighten and unlikely most people would have even noticed. The finish seems to be a heavy spray enamel, not powder coat. It would be nicer if it had a rubber pad on top just to help prevent scratching from metal on metal contact between the hanger and barbells. No rubber does allow things to slide off the hanger easier though so I guess it's a trade-off.It came with (5) basic quality steel carabiners and a small bubble level that's handy but really not necessary IMO. I'd rather see an improved finish. Also included are (4) 8 x 60 mm (a little smaller than 3/8" x about 2 1/4" long) lag screws and (4) 8 x 60 mm expansion bolts (for concrete), both with proper washers. My only real complaint is that the outside hole spacing is not quite 16" which would make it easier to mount in a home environment. The holes are just far enough apart that you can hit studs that are 16" on center as long as you're careful and your framing is correct (it often varies just enough to be annoying). Just be sure to pre-drill and be sure you've hit enough solid stud. There is also a mounting hole in the center, which really should be used if you plan to actually hang 4 Olympic bars. Fully loaded, this hanger can certainly carry a lot of weight! The instructions are good but only details installation in concrete using the supplied expansion bolts. I do believe this can be safely mounted to typical wooden wall studs using the supplied lag screws and instructions for this would be helpful as more care is required, especially to achieve the full rated capacity of 150 pounds (yikes!).Overall this good solid hanger at a great price. If the fit and finish were improved just a little, it would be easy to give it a full 5 stars.

We ordered this wall-mounted barbell holder to hold our aluminum barbell attachments from our gym equipment. From the description and the photos, it would appear this was the perfect accessory for our gym. Unfortunately, the only measurements that are missing from the advertisement are the measurements of the width of the slots for the barbells and they are too narrow to fit any of our aluminum barbells or handles (see photos)If you are looking for a holder for skinny, steel barbells, this might work well for you. It is made of sturdy steel and comes with excellent mounting hardware for wood or concrete. The designers even placed the mounting holes 15 3/4" on-center to hit your standard stud spacing. There are holes to clip carabiners and it comes with 5 aluminum carabiners which will come in handy for some of our rope and strap attachments.Because this is advertised as a barbell holder and it lacks the ability to hold some of the most common barbell attachments for modern gym equipment and the ads don't have the proper measurements, I have given this a 3 star review. The price of $26.99 is right for the quality and accessories if this works for you. I hope you find this review and accompanying photos helpful in making your decision.
