This has made splitting kindling and small pieces of wood more easier on the back compared to a axe and hatchet free hand splitting it. Just need to raise and lower it to the height that best suits the average height of the average people that will be using it and the interchangeable screw on handles to shorten or lengthen the handle depending on the size of the piece of wood being split helps immensely with added leverage.

Splits wood for kindling without an axe or hatchet. You aren’t going to cut lots of wood, but when you need to split a piece up for kindling this is perfect. Mounts to wall or post.
