This thing is trash. Will not hold any amount of weight without buckling. The bolts they send break instantly and the arms just bend. Very little weight is suggested with this. Would not recommend unless your pulling leaves off a tree

3-4 star product. Built pretty rugged. Welds are pretty good. Haven’t tried it pulling wood yet but will do job. Fit and finish was my only issue. Top link set little crooked but it will work. Chain is little small but I’ll try it first before upsizing. Can use it to move trailers with ball but need to dissemble which was negative and positive sense it didn’t say it in the add

This item is worth the buy. Even though it is bolted together and the bolt my break. Weld it together and it is stout! You can lift anything if your brave enough. Logs, stumps, broke down equipment, fat women, rocks and even pipe. It is worth the buy

Some key holes were very badly mis-drilled, and it took a lot of milling to make that right. The chain bolt sleeve was far too long to fit, and had to be cut down in length, and then ovalized to fit into the chain...which I had to expand a bit to make even the ovalized sleeve fit.Very, very bad quality control in both parts supply and manufacture. But it seems sturdy enough, and the price is OK for the mass of metal. We'll see how it works when I start using it heavily this fall.

Had this assembled in a few minutes. Works great to bring logs up from the woods.

Ok, I was skeptical when I ordered this. But, it was exactly what I needed.Assembly was straightforward, though the instructions are not super clear, and the hardware does not appear to be grade 8, but all bolts are appropriate to the application. It has held up well for several weeks of log dragging, and is built pretty well. I use this on a subcompact Kubota and have been skidding black locust ogs in the 600-1000lb range. I bought a grapple hook as well as the boom does not come with one. Works well, is easy to operate and honestly I don't have any complaints. No, the welds are not perfect and I bet the powder coat on it will flake with some time, but, for the price and performance, it can't be beat.Would it hold up to 5000lb logs? I don't know, but for medium to smaller logs it's great. After doing some logging, I had a 20'+ elm come down on our place in a storm. Diameter at the base where it broke was around 10". Hooked up the entire broken tree and easily dragged it uphill to the burn pile whole. I think I'm gonna get a lot of use out of this simple implement.

I’ve been skidding 17’ fresh cut pines up to 28” diameter-no problems. Also lifting the stumps up to 48” diameter at the base x 3’ high. No metal bending. As lightweight as it is, I was skeptical it would hold up, but so far zero issues. Good value for $.
