All is good except. The replaceable earplugs are only available in multi(3) size packs . No use to an owner. Great for new purchases. At the price you don’t want to throw 2/3 of your purchase away. After market packages 3 of one size are needed! Think about it!

I got these mostly for hearing protection while using equipment - tractor, weedeater, chainsaw, etc. - and wanted the highest NRR available in an earbud style. I wanted the earbuds rather than the headphones so that I can wear a hat, goggles, and other protective equipment. These Walker's are great - much better than the foam earplugs I have that are "rated" at 33 db NRR. And I love the fact that I can still hear what is going on without having to take the plugs out. I had the opportunity to shoot with someone who has a .303 British rifle. I was worried that these Walker's would not be enough, but they were great, even for that very loud rifle. I like having the Bluetooth capability - it works great, though I don't really use it that much.I also like these because they have the around the neck base, which gives them better battery life (I have yet to run them down, even with several hours of use) and keeps me from losing one if I am swiped by tree limbs. The neck piece is quite comfortable and really does not get in the way.My only concern is that they are not rated any level of water resistant. So far this is not an issue, but I worry that excess dust, heavy sweating, or getting caught in some rain may be a problem.

I bought these for use a job site. They are comfortable.Sound quality is decent.Mic sound quality is pretty good as well. The foam ear tips wear out fast. I've had other brands of bluetooth headsets where the foam tips lasted for a year or so. These only lasted a couple months. The volume adjustment for the external amplification doesn't seem to do anything. All the way down or all the way up and there isn't any discernable difference. Also hearing people speaking over minimal background noise (a fan) is difficult at best.Auto off feature is very buggy. Auto off would randomly turn off the headset. Doesn't matter if you're listening to music, doesn't matter if you've pressed buttons. Sometimes it doesn't matter if you manually turn the headset off and on again. I downloaded the app and tried to turn the auto off feature and it didn't do anything. Still just randomly shuts off.Battery life.Initially everything was fine. Then after a couple months the battery would die after 8 hours, then 6, now around 5. The only reason I still use this headset is because the mic is better than the $60 headset I have now.

Have a previous version of this product. Bought these due to the Bluetooth capability. I opened the package and read the "manual". What a useless piece of paper. It does say that the blue light will come on when the unit is powered on. No where does it tell whatit means if the light alternates between blue and red, which it did for several seconds. Finally, it settled on a sold blue light and then it went out completely. Nowhere can you find if this is normal behavior.Moving on, I downloaded the Walker's Link App. The "manual" says to press the BT button to pair the unit to the smart phone. Well, ladies and gentlemen, there ISN'T a BT button. In fact, the illustrations of the device DO NOT identify such a button. So, as you may well guess, I cannot decipher how to pair it to the smartphone. At this point, the very feature that I bought the unit to utilize is not available.A shooting buddy has this same unit and got it to working. I will get his assistance and if it works, fine; if not, then this sucker is going back. After finally figuring out how to get them working, I am a happy camper. I've owned Howard Leight electronic ear muffs as well as the previous version of Walker Razor's. I can state, absolutely, these are the best of the lot. They are so unobtrusive and the sound so natural, you sometimes think you don't have them powered on. With the bluetooth, I can answer my phone and have a conversation. Blast attenuation is very good, too. Yeah, I am now very satisfied with their performance. The "manual" still sucks, though.

These are so much more comfortable than the ear muffs that I purchased before to shoot. You do need to be sure that the plugs expand fully inside your ear before letting go to get a good seal. I was a little concerned that they weren't doing their 'job' but when you use the app, you can turn off the electronics and you can hear for yourself how much it is protecting your hearing. It works well during shooting and I have no hearing issues after we are done. I haven't used them to listen to music, but I am able to clearly hear talking and successfully muffs the shots. I've also only charged them up once since I got them, and the battery is holding the charge well. The only 'knock' is there is a lot of static noise, I'm assuming from the enhanced hearing. But all in all, wearing these are so much more comfortable than the large, tight ear muffs.
