These make wiring easy, the connections are secure and I can see that the wires are fully seated in the fitting. Being able to pull just one wire out makes rewiring and messing around with multiple connections so much easier than a wire nut where I'd have to cut, re-strip and start again. The only thing I would recommend is to add a loop of insulation tape around the fitting over the levers. I have had a couple that when pushed into a tight spot in the back of a connection box catch something on a lever and flick it open. But adding tape over the levers solves this in a second. Will only use these when wiring round the house from now on.

They are smaller than I thought, holds wires very well, not as awkward as wire nuts and way easier to add a wire to our make changes. They seem to fit into the electrical box better than wire nuts.

So after reading a bunch of reviews on this "new" type of connector, I figured I'd give it a whirl. I'm a DIYer, not professional electrician, but I get into electrical boxes often enough while doing house renovation. THe thing I most hate about electrical work is having to create pigtail ends to join multiple lines together, and then trying to stuff all those twist caps back into a crowded box. These connectors are not only quick to use, but they also allow many lines to be joined in common without all that pigtail work - thus lessening some of the crowd in the box. The connections are tight and seem very secure. I also like that you can join dissimilar gauge lines together easily because each wire has it's own slot (so long as you're within the range of the connector's ability). The ONLY downside I found with these is that the levers that fold down to hold the wires in place are prone to getting snagged or caught on things while working so you sometimes unintentionally free a wire. This is easily remedied by wrapping the connector in a little electrical tape to keep them secure. It's not NECESSARY but a good idea. Also - because you may be working with several wires coming in at different angles, you may have strain on the connector (much like a twist cap) but with up to 5 different tensions. I didn't notice any slip or failure of the connector under this kind of strain but to be extra safe, I joined all incoming lines with a zip tie about half an inch from where they enter the connector, thus shifting a lot of the strain to the zip tie. It also looks cleaner that way. Again, not necessary, just a nice extra. As a DIYer I have the time to go that extra step but as a pro electrician, the connector should work on its own but I don't have any history to back that up.

Based on a demonstration and recommendation by the host of a reputable YouTube channel, I purchased a 75 piece box of WAGO Wire Connectors. I completed a project where I installed a generator transfer switch next to the boiler in order to guarantee heat and hot water in the event of a power outage. The WAGO connectors made connecting the wires easier, safer, because they hold the wires tightly in place, and they took up less room in the junction box than standard wire nuts. Based on this experience, I will use WAGO connectors anytime I work on an electrical project. GREAT PRODUCT and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

As an American electrician, wire nuts are vastly more prevalent and used. But why? These wire connectors are far superior in many ways. Easy to use, quick to install AND uninstall, you don't lose connection when installing or uninstalling, works with stranded, solid, all common gauges and look clean. These should be the industry standard and replace wire nuts. Only downside is cost, which is a major concern for my contractors.

From Canada - very easy to use, faster than wire nuts to install. The units are surprisingly small and they hold well. It makes it easier to check your wiring configuration and... bonus! they can be undone and reused. Yes a tad expensive but with a saving in labour worth the investment. If you change out a light fixture that was installed with wire nuts you should re cut and strip the wires because they often break the second time around (and you may not know it). With no need to twist wires there are no more breakages.

such a pleasure to work with . no more twisting wire nuts just to have the wires pop out. the clamp is firm but simple if you need to change to a larger or smaller group. they come in this handy dandy case so you dont need to search for the one you want. good quality, well presented and not made in china is definitely a win. for 15 amp wiring they seem like the bees knees
