I'm old, so I've spent my years twisting and soldering and wrapping with electrical tape, and the Wago was simply a revelation when I first found them. But they only went to 12-gauge wire. These Wagos go to 10 gauge, making them very useful where I used to have to resort to a wire nut. Best change in connecting wires in decades.

This was the answer for me in my old 1940’s house. Many of the wires in my house are the tin plated, fabric sheathed wires. The normal 12 gauge Wagos did not have an opening large enough to fit the fabric sheathing. These 10 gauge Wagos do fit the fabric sheathing. No more stupid wire nuts for me!

What can i say, they're wagos! I hooked up a 30amp box on the outside of the house to accept a generator plug. Needed to connect 10-3 wire from the basement to the stranded wires in the box. Wire nuts do not work well for connecting stranded to solid and work even worse with 10 gauge wire. The wagos worked great as always. Pricey, but cheaper than an electrical fire.

I love these Wago wire connectors. But they don't seem to work as well with stranded wire as with the unstranded ones. I had some difficulty getting the unstranded ones to fit snugly. But other than that, they are awesome!!

This is a good assortment to try these connectors out. They are handy replacement for twisted caps, but work well only for solid wire. I believe these are mandatory in Europe electrical installation instead of the twisted nuts. Great for hobby applications.
