About this item

  • EASY AND CONVENIENT--Nicelux electrical 2 Pin T Connector help you quickly splice branches to main wire in mid-span without electrician skills, just place wire and clamp cover with ease,NO SOLDERING,NO STRIPPING,NO TWISTING and NO TAPING needed.Wire placement is easy with help of cover's capture ring and clear cover allow you to observe if wire position is correct.Increase your effeciency saving time and money
  • SAFE,SECURE & RELIABLE--The IDC Self-Stripping pins pierce wire insulation and contact cable cores inside connector's plastic housing, that means the cores are never exposed during full operation, which is safe to user. The flame retardant and high votage resitant housing add one more protection to you from high voltage electric shock.Secure lock ensure it is hard to open or loose due to vibration that is more reliable than T tap spade terminal connector
  • WIDELY APPLICABLE--For both Low voltage and high voltage connection, it can work with various 22~18AWG electrical cables used in vehicle electronics, furniture electronics,Indoor LED lighting;sensors, audio speakers, video display, securty camera, power supply, battery box, junction box, electrical DIY and more.Wire Types include Solid,Stranded and Flexible
  • PARALLEL CIRCUIT JOINT-With circuit mark on cover to guide user connect wire correctly to avoid short circuit. It also makes your electrical wiring cleaner, more organized and easier to understand for future maintenance
  • POWERFUL & DURABLE--Each Conductor(Pin) has 8 contact points between wire core and connector pin, which is TWICE of what T tap spade terminal connectors have in the market,in addition to high precision copper material,it can bear up to 10A current that is over 18 Gage wire support.Anti corrosion process make the pin maintain high conductivity for long term

I used 20 gage wire without any issues. The instructions state remove plastic ring for thicker wire (18 gage) I'd say thats what the manufacturer is talking about?

I don’t think they work very well too hard to use Into expensive

Bought these to use in a chandelier I am building, but am most likely going to toss them and just use wing nuts. These connects are a great concept, but not the greatest execution. The wiring I am using is 18 AWG, which the product states that it will work with, but no matter how hard I squeeze the connector, it will not stay closed which causes there not to be good contact for current to flow through. Would probably be great for 20 or 22 AWG, but 18 AWG is just too big for these connectors.

These are crap. They do not clasp with even the smallest gauge wire. It had to be taped down to secure the tap.

Worked great when I combine two LED lights together onto one switch.

Broke 3 in a row following manufacturer's directions. These proved useless for anything larger than 18awg (stripped) as advertised. I tried to use these for an audio project, but they could not penetrate the shielding at all without breaking. I followed others recommendations to use pliers to press the wire securely. All that accomplished was to bend the plastic at the hinge point so that it would not secure the wiring properly. The hinge seems to be the weak point of these taps. I thought these seemed a good idea to help with my project, but I was wrong. These will probably work fine for 20-22awg wire or 18awg with very thin insulation. Unfortunately, they don't work at all for anything thicker. Following manufacturer's recommendation to cut the plastic rings seems to have only weakened the plastic, making it unusable, and also, unreturnable. Learn from my mistake. Cheaper standard t-taps worked where these failed. Glad I didn't buy more. Might find another project to try these on, but they may just end up in the trash.

These work as advertised. You need pliers to squeeze them shut, and depending on the gauge it may take some strength to do so. Threading in fine wires requires care. They may be a little challenging in tight or awkward spaces.
