Great quality! I’ve had the fancy backpacking fire stoves, and for the price, this stove is amazing!

Not backing equipment, this is meant to replace your pots and pans from home. Not ultra light equipment for backpacking.

It’s the perfect cook set for my solo camping trips! Tbh I’d use this even if I weren’t camping given a decent excuse.

This stove set is a very nicely made set, but it is not meant for solo backpacking or even for just 2 people. This stove and set is really designed for large group cooking because of the size of it. Its huge! lol. also kind of heavy, but thats just because of its size. it would be ideal if you had 3-6 people going out for a week in the back country. it heats up ultra fast and has a nice adjuster for controlling the flame to be able to slowly simmer stuff. I like that the burner itself comes in its own zippered pouch because I did find it to get a little bit of soot on it and having its own container keeps it from getting other stuff dirty. this is a great set if you have a family, or lots of hiking budies!

This thing puts out heat like a blast furnace. Water boils before you’re ready for it. Those are exaggerations of course, but it’s powerful. I’m not used to that level of heat on a camp stove. I use small canisters containing a blend of propane, isobutane and butane. When it’s cranking, the stainless “cover” of the piezo starter that’s over one of the burners turns cherry red. At lower settings it doesn’t glow. They use stainless in jet engines and for the heat shields after the catalyst in my wood stove, so I think this won't harm the starter cover in this stove's lifetime. It’s easy to set-up and to connect the fuel canister. Lights on the first push of the piezo starter. Does retain a bit of heat in its thick cast body after shut down, unlike thin stainless units, so be careful handling it or packing it away. Easy to take down and store. There’s less space between the frame and the pot than with my other stoves. That’s due to the burners being recessed within the frame. I feel that allows more heat to transfer to the pan rather than be whipped away by wind. It’s stable. It’s footprint is wide with silicone feet and its 3 notched brackets that the pan sits on are also wider than my previous stoves. Plus its lower to the ground since it does not sit atop the fuel canister as others do.I appreciate the storage bag which fits it perfectly and keeps it organized. It’s bottom is a material I don’t recognize and I hope it’s durable. The pot, pan and lid are nice. I'll have to etch my own graduation marks on the pot since there are none. 500 ml or whatever marks would have been nice.I don’t have need for the compact silverware and cups so I don’t pack those and instead put a can opener, scrubbing pads, sponge and other related items into the pot. A lot of stuff in a small space.

The valve lever feels a little flimsy and has to be pretty firmly twisted to turn fully off. Other than that pretty great. Super fast cooker.
