This item is ALOT smaller than I thought it would be however it still does what it is purposed for. I would prefer one much larger! This will work for now!

We really like this Dutch oven tripod. It is very well made. And though it is to sit in fire, they took much care to create a beautiful black finish. It looks really nice and clean. It's super heavy and durable. This thing will last. It will be the only one we will ever have to buy.

I love this little tripod. I have big plans for it. It fits over my Mesa SoloStove mini fire pit. Put a metal pan over the top: Poof! Instant heat deflector. Sure, put a dutch oven on it, or a wok. It will work great in a campfire or over a small Mesa SoloStove.Speaking of SoloStoves, we have a larger one, a Ranger, that is 15 inches in diameter. So we can use the tripod on top of that SoloStove too, for heat deflecting or cooking. (We don't actually cook over our little fire pits often; we have a grill for that).The tripod was easy to assemble by just screwing in the slant-leg posts. It seems heavy and durable, and it should hold up well to outdoor living and use. I've already placed it over the stoves, but the fire will have to wait until its not 80 degrees anymore. Fall is here, so it won't be long!

This would be more stable if it had a fourth leg but is good as is. Holds a heavy pot. Just make sure it is on stable ground so it can't sink in and tip over.

I am a sucker for camping accessories so when I see one that will help me with a camping issue that I have, I have to have it. I was using a tall tripod for camping, but I much prefer this smaller, more compact version. This tripod is made specifically for a dutch oven, and it accommodates mine well. The tripod I was using was less sturdy, and I had a hard time getting the heavy pot to stay securely level on it. This one is the perfect size. It sits a little low, but just build your fire accordingly and you will be fine. All you need to do is screw the legs on. My only wish would be for it to come with a carry bag. There are a variety of pans you can use on top of it, but my main use is my dutch oven.

Picked up this campfire "tripod" (though it's really more of a trivet), and it’s been great for cooking outdoors. It’s super easy to set up—you just screw the legs in, no adjusting or fussing with chains. It sits right over the coals or fire, keeping my Dutch oven stable and at a good height for cooking. Perfect for stews or slow-cooked meals without worrying about tipping or shifting.This thing is built solid, and even though it’s simple, it’s exactly what I need. It folds up nicely and doesn’t take up much room in my gear, so it’s easy to bring along. The stability on uneven ground is impressive, and it feels secure no matter where I set it up. Great addition for anyone looking to simplify their campfire cooking setup!

This tripod is a wonderful addition to our fire pit, It is heavy so it will hold a heavy pot. The height of the legs keeps it above the flame but definitely in the heat. The way it is made it will hold different sizes of pans. If you enjoy cooking at a fire pit or camping this is a great addition.
