About this item

  • Soft start, short and overload circuit protection features. For use with WAC Lighting low Voltage under cabinet and recessed Lighting systems
  • 1W minimum load to support low load LED systems. Intrinsically safe, class 2 Transformers permit no greater than a 5 amp current to be drawn
  • Secondary wiring for class 2 Transformers does not require Conduit sheathed cable or clamp wiring techniques. Non-metallic sheathed cable may be used for secondary wiring in walls and ceilings
  • Input Voltage: 120V AC, output Voltage: 24V AC, loads vary based on transformer 60Watt, 100Watt, 150Watt, and 300Watt
  • Smooth and continuous dimming with an electronic low Voltage dimmer. Dimmers should always be installed on the primary side of the transformer. Standards: class 2, UL & CUL listed for Damp locations
  • Enclosed electronic transformers UR (UL ready) component
  • Use for all initial installations to ensure safe and primary side connections in a wiring compartment
  • Dimming with Electronic Low Voltage dimmers
  • 24V, AC 96W maximum load capacity - 35W minimum - No Voltage Drop

Remote enclosed electronic transformer 120V Input 24V output 100 watt. This class 2, UL & cul listed enclosed electronic transformer is the perfect solution for Wiring multiple low voltage fixtures. Class 2 transformers are intrinsically safer transformers because they are compartmentalized to allow no greater than 5 amps of current to be drawn on each compartment. Enclosure cover is easy to remove. Transformer has knockouts on three sides with clips for line voltage Wiring. Secondary Wiring for class 2 transformers do not require conduit sheathed cable or clamp Wiring techniques. This transformer has a low minimum load requirement of 1W to allow the use of LED products. May be dimmed using an electronic low voltage dimmer.. soft start, short and overload circuit protection features. For use with WAC Lighting low voltage under cabinet and recessed lighting systems. Transformers that end with -s include a lead wire for line and straight edge under cabinet systems, and those that end with -t include a lead wire for invisiled 24V tape light systems. 1W minimum load to support low load LED systems. Intrinsically safe, class 2 transformers permit no greater than a 5 amp current to be drawn. Secondary Wiring for class 2 transformers does not require conduit sheathed cable or clamp Wiring techniques. Non-metallic sheathed cable may be used for secondary Wiring in walls and ceilings. Input voltage: 120V AC, output voltage: 24V AC, loads vary based on transformer 60Watt, 100Watt, 150Watt, and 300Watt. Smooth and continuous dimming with an electronic low voltage dimmer. Dimmers should always be installed on the primary side of the transformer. Standards: class 2, UL & cul listed for damp locations.

This is the exact replacement for a cabinet LED light transformer that had failed. So happy I did not have to go to a lighting or electrical supply to get this. Replaced it myself and my cabinet lights are working again just like before. Highly recommend.

I'd purchased this same unit several years ago and the old one had begun to fail. The unit proves just enough room to make the connections within the metal box, and I'm running 5 lights from the single unit (light wires are quite small).

> I bought this product and expected that it would be a new unit. However, when it arrived the packaging had been resealed (poorly) and the unit had clearly been installed previously. I didn't had time to return/reorder so tried it out and it does work. Surprised that I got a refurbished or returned product as that was not listed in the product details.

Unit direct replacement for one installed by builder in 2016 which intermittently lost voltage. Replacement seems to be working fine.

Purchased the EN-24100-RB2-T from Amazon along with four HR-LED87-CB and finally installed it. Wired it up to existing LED can box with all LED lights being controlled by 3 way Lutron dimmers. The Lutron dimmers are: MRF2-6ELV-120 for the master and MA-R for the companion. Everything seemed just fine untill I switched the dimmers all the way up. The master works just fine but the companion dimmer doesn't work or maybe should I say it sort of works. The companion dimmer only works for switching the lights when the master is set to one level below full brightness and the dimming rocker only works when the master is set to two levels below full brightness. I've contacted Lutron thinking their product was faulty but after troubleshooting we came to conclusion that the transformer is the one that is faulty and interrupts communication between master and companion dimmer when WAC lights are at their highest brightness.I've spend the rest of the day looking at options to make the lights work. There is an option on the Lutron to adjust the high end trim level which I did to all the way down. This somewhat fixed the unable to turn the lights off problem, but did nothing to the dimming rocker not working. When I say somewhat fixed it I mean that it works sometimes and other times it doesn't. It is very frustrating to say the least that there are technologies that will not work together well on a basic level like turning lights on and off.

Nice compliant way to add a transformer. The metal box has 1/2" KOs so you can properly terminate your cable.Did not work for my purposes as it outputs 12v *AC*. The description should be updated to reflect that the current is 12VAC, not 12VDC.
