Absolute junk, bought 4 for projects and they are extremely inaccurate the 3.5 rise is 10 degree at best even when adjusted with the junky little plastic wheel. The unit cannot maintain temp, even a most minor adjustment on the main knob is out to lunch!! stay away!!DO NOT BUY THESE, JUNK!!! Loose set temp over time!!!ZERO attempt by supplier to contact or correct my complaint!

Design error. Differential knob held on by cheap plastic plug. A little pressure and the knob will fall off. Needs to be held on by a screw.Tried to set differential to minimum while installing. Knob fell off!May work fine if you don't need to adjust differential.

The differential shows to be 7° for out minimum and not the 3.5° shown in the specs. Returning for refund.

I moved my walk in cooler. After the move it didn't seem to be holding the temp very well. The temperature range was very wide, so I thought we damaged the thermostat in the move. Bought this one to replace it.The problem didn't improve. The compressor ran constantly, the temp range was very wide. Disappointing to say the least. It wasn't expensive, but also didn't work. There is a dial on it that the instructions (severely lacking) reference somehow that made me think it was a range the unit would try to hold. It didn't matter which way I turned it (and turning it often resulted in the knob falling out the back of the unit and not adjusting anything) the temp still varied widely. Finally I bit the bullet and bought a digital unit:https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B0015NV5BEMy walk in is now running like a champ. Temp is held VERY closely. Extremely happy with the digital unit. This one is in the trash heap.

Have this installed on my a/c compressor by wiring it to the 24 volt wire going to the contactor to lock my A/C from coming on, on very cold days. It works well.
