The rating is based on a 5:1 safety factor. 5:1 is the correct safety factor, recommended by the WSTDA, and our slings are always rated properly. BEWARE: some other suppliers on the market do not rate their slings at a full 5:1 safety factor, which is not safe and can be very misleading to the user.

I've been using it as an aerial sling. It has held up to moisture so far (a couple of months). Hurts a bit on the feet, but it's not really made for humans...

I finally got my money's worth!! This is a good durable sling and worth the $$$$$. I work marine construction and these slings are taking place of wire chokers. These round slings hold up well, don't develop fish hooks like wire slings, and are easy on-easy off the crane hook because there is no eye to stretch out. Just make sure to use the right length for the pick because you don't want to haul 18' of round sling to pick up a 12x. I'm buying more from these guys.
