These straps are similar to ones we used when rigging lights for a concert venue. The quality looks to be great. They are polyester, and the information tag covers the ends that are connected, but I am guessing they have a combination of stitching and vulcanization at the joining area. The major complaint I have seen so far is too little stitching at the label area, but I am pretty sure that applying more foreign materials that will not take the stress of the polyester will weaken the strap with more hole spacing in the weave creating higher stress points, and a binding in that area from the wrapping that occurs in the stitch process. I will be giving these a full test when I have to move a 30 inch diameter section of tree, that fell on a shed, in a week or two. If they stand up to that task, I'll up the rating. If not... Well.

I'm really starting to like these type of polyester lifting straps. These are nice and thick, but still pliable. They are easy to use and don't mar up whatever you are lifting. It seemed that when lifting with chains I was always rubbing paint off somewhere.I like that there are lifting instructions included as a reminder on how to use the straps.I've only used one strap to lift a smaller item and it worked great, but I'm sure I'll get some good use out of these in the near future. Hopefully they'll hold up.

set of 4, 6 foot lengthI was pleasantly surprised when I received these; the 6' length spec'd is the length of the 'flattened circle'; not the length of the strap itself. In other words, hanging the loop on a peg 6' above the floor will allow the other end of the loop to touch the floor. Another big thumbs-up for including a detailed info sheet on *how to use* lift straps, complete with weight ratings for the various configurations using this strap. That info could well help prevent injury for people inexperienced with lift strap use.Good job!

These polyester slings are easy to work with, and they are quite rugged, Of course care must be taken to actually use them correctly, but these have easy to read safety markings and load capacity labels, allowing me to easily understand the maximum load capacity. It is obvious that the markings are applied to the sling in such a way that they will not be destroyed by normal use.Lifting slings are devices that REALLY need to be taken seriously, and a lot can go wrong in a real hurry if you don't grab the right sling for the job. Make sure you understand how to use slings properly before attempting to lift anywhere NEAR the weight capacity of these things. Make sure there are no cuts or abrasions on the strap before you use it, and if there is, replace it BEFORE attempting a heavy pick.
