The combination of a triceratops and a fire truck is pure genius, capturing the imagination of kids. The seamless transformation between the two modes is impressive, and the interactive features keep children engaged. It's educational, fun, and well-built. A fantastic toy that earns a solid 5 stars.

In general, we have really loved the VTEC switch and go dinosaur/vehicle collection, but this one is our least favorite. There is a mini motorbike that comes inside of the body of the triceratops, but the mechanism inside it broke the first day. The triceratops legs also are a little tricky to lock into place so they splay out relatively easily. It looks cool, and for little kids to love fire engines, it is very exciting, but be forewarned that it comes with some headaches

My kids love playing with anything that they can drive around and that makes noise, so this Triceratops fire truck is right up their alley. It would make a great gift for kids that love dinosaurs or fire trucks or both! This toy can transform from one to the other and it’s fairly simple to change it, my kids are able to do it without any assistance. There is a mini vehicle as part of this as well as plenty of lights and sounds when you press the buttons. It’s decently big but my kids have been pretty entertained by it so it makes up for the space it occupies.
