The label on the box says violin and the back sticker tacked on says viola per picture. I will say the box label is obviously more official. It is too small for my viola.I did see another reviewer had the same issue. Took it with a grain of salt that it may have just been a mistake by the seller... I guess I should have listened. Returning.

This is a very poor quality plastic tailpiece.I ordered for viola, received one marked violin on one side of the package, viola on the other side. It is small, and there is no gut, which is shown in the picture, for attaching to the viola.
