What a view looking through this monocular. Very high quality optics/lens for the price. Lightweight, I carry this instead of heavier binoculars when I go on long hikes to the deserts or mountains east of San Diego. Highly recommend.

This monocular is very helpful for my range trips. I was considering taking my pair of binoculars, but they would take up too much space in my range bag. I can quickly check my shot placement downrange. It's durable, and the glass is VERY clear. I highly recommend this product.

Just received my 10x36 Vortex monocular. Great little unit for a quick look. Vortex quality, VIP warranty and on sale for $99. Very pleased with the unit. Very clear and works well in low light conditions.

Like the size and quality of the solo but I had rather have a wrist lanyard instead the neck one that it came with. The neck one very cheesy. I had a wrist. One from a high in Ledlenser flashlight that I put on solo. Works nice. Other than that nice unit.

Muy buen producto, la primera vez que lo pedí se supone que me lo entregaría la paquetería AMPM, sin embargo nunca hicieron el intento por entregarlo y tuve que volverlo a pedir, al igual como la paquetería de Correos de México que es pésima y se roban los pedidos, ojalá Amazon cuide esos detalles tan importantes.

I’m going to be using this on my little outdoor adventures or even watching wildlife in my backyard. The monocular seems to be generally not recommended if you read up on them online. People was say that Binos are better in just about every way. The reason I bought this is that it’s small enough to always be with you and the best optics are going to be the ones that are with you. bought both 8x and 10x solos. I like the belt clip idea. Build quality seems ok, vortex is supposed to have a good warrantee policy. The 8x was very underwhelming. Clear and extremely stead but didn’t get me as close as I wanted. I ordered the 10x and was much more satisfied. It’s ever so slightly more unstable but I can actually see what I want to see. The two pictures of the rose bush are from around 30 ft or so. There’s a very small difference. It’s not until you look at an object farther away that the 10x really starts to shine. I’d actually be interested in a 12x but it seems most major brands don’t make a 12x monocular and most people think 10x is over kill for monoculars. I’m new to this but I’d rather use my naked eye than 8x in my humble opinion. I hardly ever order things to compare and send one back but the 8x will be getting returned this time round.Note* As an added bonus you can flip it around and look into the end backward and use it as a magnifier. I can see the lines of my finger prints in detail like a microscope. Could be handy in the right circumstance!

This monocular is well constructed, easy to focus and comes with a nice case. It has a built in clip which easily attaches to any camera case or side strap/pocket. Reasonably priced unit compared to other brands; and, it has a built in eye cup extender aiding when wearing glasses. The light allowed by the front diopter is more than adequate in low light conditions…can’t do better for the price.

I purchased the Solo 10x36 hoping it would give me decent image quality. When comparing it to my Canon 10x30 IS binoculars it seems that this is not a true 10x scope but a bit less than 10x. Also there is much less depth of field so it is much harder to get a focused image. I was viewing the super moon this evening and there is a lot of lens flare in the scope where the binoculars have no flare at all. I guess I was expecting more since my use case will be out to about 25 yards but with the limited depth of field this scope will be hard to focus on objects for clear details.

Anteriormente tenía otro monocular que pensaba que era decente.Al extraviaron me compré este y la verdad que ni comparación con el anterior.Este de la marca Vortex le supera en todo, gran nitidez de visión, más luminoso, en fin mucho mejor.Yo lo recomiendo.
