The best thing about these hanging file folders is that they are expandable to an extra .05 inches. That may not seem like a lot, but depending on your needs for the folders, this came in very handy for me. Not only are the folders expandable but it comes with a small piece of cardboard that you place at the bottom of the folder to hold its shape. I know it seems like a small detail, but it is very useful and worthwhile. They come in assorted colors and are durable to the touch. These are letter-sized folders only.

I always overstuff my file folders. I wish that these had the hanging tabs, and didn't realize they didn't, but they still work great. Also like toe colors to help with my color coding system. HIGHLY recommend.

These file folders work great. It comes with 6 of them and they’re all different colors which helps differentiate the contents of each one. There are also tabs that you can write on as well. They’re made with a hard plastic and feel like they’ll last a long time. A lot better than the paper ones. They are the normal size of file folders so they fit in your average filing cabinet. They’re very easy to use and a good deal for the price.

These are basic hanging file folders. They come in a variety of colors and have clear tabs with paper inserts. They don’t quite fit my file box which is a bummer and the metal is a tad thinner than the other files I have. The red and green are the new ones compared to my older ones (dark teal) which fit better. If you have a metal rack these files might fit better. One of the folders already ripped when I removed the tab. Overall decent but not the best available.

These folders were easy to fold open to the 1-inch capacity. The cardboard pieces you insert in the bottom to keep it flat are a nice touch, which I’ve not seen on other folder packs that I’ve purchased. They fit under small pre-cut tabs but I added some tape just to make sure they stay put.Not sure why another reviewer stated there were no plastic label holders included, because there were, at least with my set. Since my handwriting it not the greatest, I printed out some titles sized 2 inches x .6 inches, and they fit the slots fine as you can see from my photo of the folders in the desk drawer.Most of the docs I wanted to file were already in pocket folders, which all resided in a pile inside the drawer. The pocket folders fit just fine inside these hanging files, which is handy as I can simply remove the entire folder when I need to shuffle thru the docs in that particular category.Happily my family will easily be able to find my will if I suddenly leave the scene. In the meantime, planning to order another pack of these!

I got these to use for my thicker files in my filing cabinet, or for files that I know will get fatter and fatter as the year progresses. They were very easy to figure out. There are three "folding lines" at the bottom of each hanging file. Fold on the center line to use as a normal file folder. When the file gets thicker, you can fold along the other two fold lines. There are thick, long pieces of cardboard (thicker than cardstock) that can slip into a little lip in the bottom of the folder on either side to support fatter files. This way, your fatter files don't drag down into the hanging folder and have their label-tabs get lost among other files. Other than that, they have about the same feel and function as any other hanging file folders. Well worth the $8 if you have fat files to organize.

These hanging file folders are made from a nice weight of paper that is sturdy and the metal hanging rod is sufficient. I like the fact they come with heavy weight cardboard strips that fit into notches in the bottom of the folder when you expand for the 1-inch expansion capability to help keep the folder open. They did come with a set of plastic tabs and printable labels.

Colorful and easy to set up. Each folder has a piece of cardboard that is held by little tabs in the bottom of the folder to give it extra strength and to help keep the folder's "box bottom" shape. The folder material itself is a little lighter weight than what I'm used to. Since I am using these to store probate documents for an estate we handled, they will not have to be accessed often and only need to be stored, so they serve their purpose for me. If you want hanging folders that see heavy use, I would go with a thicker alternative. Overall, a great lower-cost alternative, and a good choice if for lighter use without daily wear & tear. They came with plastic tabs and card inserts, although the card inserts were only enough to use with 5 of the folders, not all 6. The plastic tabs slide in easily to the top of the folder, but they are straight tabs, not slanted, so they are more difficult to read unless you're level with the files. Since mine are in a small zippered file for storage, it's fine for me, but if these were in a file drawer, I would use different tabs that I could read from above. Also, be aware that the folders themselves are just a fraction wider than most. I have an acrylic file box and where my other hanging folders would fit inside, these were just about 1/16" too wide to fit inside of it. It's no issue in a typical file drawer, but if you have a fixed box with no leeway, they are a bit wide.
