Tips of Non-Contact Voltage Tester:

When the tester is close to the lead, if you put your finger on the tip of the probe, it may suppress the signal.
Danger Warning
Prohibit touching the wire with your hands or touching the lead at the same time before testing the lead voltage.

The product was effective and delivered great results. However, I noticed that the batteries drained quickly, and the batteries that came with it were often difficult to connect properly. Recently, I had to reach out to the seller for a refund because the tester's terminal snapped off the inside circuit board, rendering it unusable.

If the dead batteries that were included are the least of the deficiencies I can deal with it. With new batteries it fired up. The light is bright. Nice feature when the power is off.I tried it on a socket and it detected the current. Not sure what the gradient light indicator was about so I had to read the directions. It states the induction voltage signal indicator flashes, and the tester lights up while the buzzer emits different frequency alarm tones.I was pretty happy with my old testers that had one indicator.It says it discriminates between neutral and live. Voltage range detection is a feature I have never had on a tester.The plastic body seems substantial and the top looks like any other tester I have. I read one review that complained about the tip breaking off. That could simply be user error. Time will tell.I noticed Klein and Fluke have versions with no plastic protrusion. I have never had a tip break off but I can see how that might happen. The low battery indicator is a nice feature.At this time I have found one negative and it’s inconsequential- dead batteries. So far it functions at necessary. I can recommend based on my experience. If this device holds up both during use and storage when not in use, I will update.
