I bought this because I couldn't stomach forking out $400 for a wire dishwasher rack for my Maytag. This one fits right inside my old wire rack -- that rack's metal prongs were rotting off but the frame and center geyser were intact -- I just had to melt out a center bit of this one for the geyser. Works great. Doesn't hold quite as many dishes as the wire rack, but the dishes come out clean and it didn't cost a ton of money. It still holds quite a few though. Happy with it. Dishwasher companies should make all their racks like this -- it will last the life of my washer, compared to the wire ones, which die around year 15. IMO.
