Had a bit of an issue with my initial order with one of the lights being cracked, but it was easily solved with the return and reorder process at Amazon. The reorder set has been installed and everything works great. Lights are fairly bright, and on a sunny day stay lit through most of the night. The company provides inserts for different size posts, and the screws needed for installation. Very happy. Will see how well they hold up being plastic.

Quality seems good (time will tell) and the light generated is very bright, but not too much. I choose these because you can replace the batteries after they have failed. Most solar lights don't allow for replaceable batteries, therefore you have to purchase a new unit once every two years. The install was also easy.

The lights have two color selections, a true white light at 6500k and a more yellow/gold color. the white is what we choose and they are super bright. They were very easy to install and we installed 30 of them on 4x4 and 4x6 posts. The adapters that come with the lights work on residential lumber sizes 3.5" and 4.5". Not all of our lights get a lot of sunlight and many do not get any direct sunlight and they have come on every night without any failure. They do not all last until sun up but many do. They come with stainless screws to help with securement. We would buy again and again.

Original review: Received my box of 12 lights and despite the product details page I only received base sizes for 5.5x5.5 and 3.5x3.5. I needed 4x4 for my vinyl posts and forced to have to contact seller.The lights that I tested have a nice appearance and the light quality is nice. I like that the battery is replaceable and accessible for future maintenance.Update : Turns out the 4x4 base size is achieved by removing an insert on the 3.5x3.5 that is reducing the opening. Appreciate the quick reply by seller. Unfortunately, I discovered my vinyl posts are actually 4.25x4.25 inches square, so I'm continuing to explore options.

The post cap lights fit nicely on my posts without modification to the posts, and they look very nice. They're easy to install and work fine. Since they're 100% solar dependent, they obviously need to be exposed to sunshine, or they won't light. Several of mine get minimal exposure to the sun, so they last for an hour or so and go out. The lights that get adequate amount of sunshine stay lit all night. Overall, for the price, I feel they're a good bargain.
