HOW TO USED
Please put in 2 AAA batteries before use (note that the package does not include Batteries). Press the Home button about 10-15 seconds until the LED indicator starts to rapidly flash, then waiting about 30-60 seconds (Entering Pairing mode, LED Flash), then your remote will automatically pair with your device.

1. The voice remote control needs to be manually matched
2. If the remote control matching needs to be updated all the time, press the voice button or the return button
3. When it cannot be used, please use the original remote control product to manually add and replace the remote control

Easy to set up with firetv. Fixed issue with my current remote draining batteries. This one has no issues with battery drain. Well made and durable against multiple drops. Buttons functioning well.

I bought this for my 7 year old son. He could never seem to be able to keep track of his remote until I found this! It glows in the dark as promised and has saved me a lot of time!

This remote was purchased to replace a remote for a 4K Fire stick that was draining batteries very quickly and becoming less and less responsive (troubleshooting extensively did not solve the problem). This remote was never able to pair with my current fire stick (despite troubleshooting via amazon and beyond). The battery cover was almost impossible to remove (unlike my previous one which came off very easily) - I had to troubleshoot this as well (thank you amazon forum for the "take trick" as this was the only way I could remove the battery cover. The remote feels less durable/sturdy than the original remote. For both of these reasons (and each alone), returning to Amazon ASAP. Won't be purchasing another at this time, will look for other alternatives to manage my Fire stick as it seems the current replacement options will not get the simple job of "remote control" done.

Received this in exactly 2 days.This Voice Remote Replacement for FireStick 3rd Gen (L5B83G), is replacing the old Firestick Remote. All of a sudden it stopped responding to the Stick and I did the reset by holding down left navigation, home and menu buttons all at the same time and nothing happened. So, I called Amazon support and explain the reason why I'm calling, I was told to reset it which I did and again it didn't work. The next solution was I had to order another one, I was told to go online and pick out a new remote, after it was confirmed that I paid for it a refund was issued for the replacement. Thumbs to Amazon 👍👍.

This remote works just as good as the original one. It does have anymore lag than the og and it’s better than using the app. The app is garbage. The button placement is slightly different, I’m use to the old one so sometimes I hit pause instead of turning it up. At first it wouldn’t turn my tv on or off or turn the volume up and down after it was connected but I reset the remote hitting back home and the menu button for ten seconds and that ended that problem

Simple to pair, and seems to work fine. Quality feels a bit below the original (thinner plastic?), but serves it's purpose well.
