Granted, this is based on a short test after opening the package today, but the module worked exactly as promised. I would recommend disconnecting the power to the module when connecting a USB cable to program it, but once I set the sound files in place and set the DIP switches to 000, this little board just worked wonderfully on a Raspberry Pi. The sound is decent quality and plenty loud enough.

So, if you want to use it normally- make sure the pins are set to 001. Seriously. And follow the naming instructions, then you'll find it a great little chip like I do now.

Very disappointed...none of the modules worked. Tried them on 3 different computers.
