Works perfectly for what I wanted. Wanted to lower my seat height and this is exactly what I was looking for. My 2008 street glide we used this to lower it 2” (since I’m only 5’7”) and it worked awesome, be aware that you may need to air up the shocks when you ride with passenger. In 2” drop I only have 1 1/2” clearance from tire to fender. Also close to bags rubbingUpdate: we’ll i lowered it 2” and it worked awesome until I put a passenger on the rear and I only had 12 lbs of pressure in my shocks and it bottomed out and frayed the taillight wires. $56 for a new harness, so I’m going to raise it up an inch and put more air in the shocks when I have a passenger.

Item installs easily and work, the only drawback is that on my 2012 Ultra it seems to bottom out on even small bumps. I added about 5 lbs of air to the shock and it still bottoms out. I may have to take them off.

Probably should have made a video of the installation , because my friends could not believe how easy this kit was to install. Great quality product and gave me the look i was looking for.

The lowering kit is well made and easy to install , I installed it on a 2008 Roadglide on the lowest setting and it rides pretty close to stock running 20lbs of air in the shocks .

Just what I paid for. The bike rode rough so I took them off. If you don't mind a rigid style ride go ahead. It did feel better lowered. I did 2in. But just too rough on 200 mile rides. Perfect for around town/show. Quality construction, steel and welds.

Do not lower it to the max, tire will rub against fender, other than t that it a good product and shipping was on time

As the ad states, fits 02-13 HD Touring Road Kings... however, it also states for hard saddlebags. I have a 2008 CVO Road King with leather covered "hard saddlebags" and this did not fit correctly. Empire Racing Parts does not specify for this model and is vague on the RK models. Also the bolts that get sent with the kit do not have "shoulders" on the heads, therefore you will need another washer so that you do not tear into your rubber grommets within the mounting holes of the shocks. I used my original top bolts. Though the kit is easy to install, better instructions with pictures would be helpful. One thing to determine is that if you plan on dropping more than one inch, what type of issues you might encounter. The bags are formed to fit snugly with the alignment of the suspension. If you move that alignment, your bags will not line up correctly and look like the rear of your bags are tilted up.This kit is a cheap alternative for bikes without form fitted hard bags and my suggestion is to check out Burly Brand Slammer Kit or Progressive Shocks to lower your bike without sacrificing form and function.**UPDATE**So after my install, I decided to check out Youtube for any information on fitment. VOILA! There is a video with the same kit being installed on a RK and Bill Dickens explains how to get your bags to fit correctly (thanks man!). This video will explain how to install and modify your bags to fit correctly. Please understand that you will need to heat the outside plastic of the inner sided of the bags and reform it to fit the angle of your bags. Good luck![...]
