The KSP Rear Lowering Shackle Kit
It is a great choice to eliminate the nose-down rake. It will drop your truck 1"-2" in the rear, improving the handling and giving a more level look at the same time.
- The kits are thickened, stronger than oem shackles.
- All of our kits are treated with powder coating that gives it a brilliant finish and keep corrosion from your kit.
- Adjustable drop shackles will lower your truck 1" or 2" depending on the bolt hole you install them on.
Important Tips
Alignment
An alignment is always recommended after altering the height of your vehicle.
Zerk Fittings
Please note that install the grease fittings before install shackles and add more grease to prevent squeaking.
Installation
According to different years of Silverdo 1500, lowering kits will be installed in different direction.

To get tge bushings in I had to put a little taper on them to help install into shackle. Not a big deal at all.

06 Silverado LT 4 door 2x4. Made me crazy with the bed filling up with water every time it rained. Installed these fairly quickly but had to drop the receiver hitch to do it. No more water in bed and truck looks more level but still little higher in back than the front. Didn't affect ride quality at all.

Install was super easy, got rid of that Chevy lean, and will scratch that itch for your first suspension mod. Fair warning though, this will make you want to go ahead and do a flip kit. The bushings on these are much better than the rubber bushings on others, plus these have grease fittings for extra longevity. The fittings it comes with are cheap trash though (one broke immediately while hand tightening it), so swap them for some brass fittings. A+ otherwise

This is a very well made product the install was easy with the grease zerts just go slow and with the bushings just use a vise and slowly push them in All you have to have for this job is a floor jack to jack stands tire chalks 21 mm ratchet and a 21 mm per inch maybe a brass hammer

This product is well built has a sturdy feel.I bought it to use the 2” option. The end result was only about 1 3/4” lowering.

Have to take off hitch to get put new shackles in but took about 2 hours they look great👍🏼

Install time took about 2-3 hours. Used hand tools only, don’t have an impact. Solid shackles, would definitely buy again. Originally purchased because of the grease fittings hopefully to get more life out of them. I will say, take your time putting the grease fittings on, and DO NOT over tighten them. They WILL break. Overall a great product. As stated above. Perfect fit for 2017 Chevy Silverado.
