Comes in a decent packaging with enough funky red grease/ oil to provide it adequate protection from an accidental under water submersion lasting ten years. The v blocks them selves are of good quality with decent surface finish. I have not used the provided clamps but their build quality is questionable and the tapped hole for the stud was made with a severely worn out tap which gives it sloppy threads.

Clamps must be filed to fit blocks ! Spend. The extra couple bucks and buy from a different source it will save you time and frustration

They are what they are, V-blocks. I haven't checked them for quality, as I don't have a leveling block or other equipment to check parallelism, so don't expect much in true precision.

These V blocks worked very well for me in drilling set screw holes in brass tubing. The only issue I had was that since the V blocks are so short, the long screw on the hold down clamp interfered with my drill press chuck.I wasted time trying to find the proper metric screw to replace it. Surprise! The clamp uses a standard 1/4" thread screw, so I changed to a shorter bolt that I had on hand.It would be handy if the two blocks could be accurately fastened into one longer block.

The blocks work, but the clams needed work. The crinkle coating on the claps was applied extra heavy so I had to run it over with a scotch brite pad to get it to fit I nto the block’s raceways. After all that, one of the clamps fingers was too wide insert into the raceway, so I had to hit it on my grinding stone. Now it works great. For the price and for my uses, I can’t complain.

I did need to surface grind the flats to get better tolerance. I don't machine for NASA but I like better than avg results. These worked well even out of the container. The clamps work decent. Good casting but, cheap materials so, they flex a bit.Overall I like these so far.

They are OK. Not great that's for sure. Made in India. Price is right though. If I could afford to buy american or Japanese I would have.
