Long before I bought these I made the mistake of using cheep walmart clip on fans. They worked up until I reached for one and the guard disintegrated in my hand. It was a mess.But these ones are top notch. Special plastic to withstand the elements, provides great circulation, and they even look better. They’ve been running none stop for a couple years now. I’m impressed.

Love VIVOSUN for their quality products and their price point, the fans are well built and run very well but the controller made all the difference I have used another companies controller in my big tent and had nothing jut problems, but the VIVOSUN was amazingly simple to install and set up and it ran all of my p1000 lights perfectly, my plants seEm so much happier now that I can truly dial in an environment that they need to thrive

Fan is well designed and well built. I'd say the perfect fan for my and I am certain many others situations. Clamps are rubberized and hold position very well. Fan angle adjustment works well. Various speeds are very useful. Rotation feature was fantastic and worked great for me for 1 year, which is pretty good but would be perfect if it lasted longer. The remainder of the fan works as it should. I should also add, these fans have been running continuously since install. No breaks until the rotation mechanism broke.😉

I have 3 6x6 greenhouses and in Texas the weather can be 30 one day and 70 the next. With grow lights/heat lamps and a sudden change in temp, the plants need air circulation because it's crowded in all of them. I have 2 in each greenhouse. Several times I've gotten a alert on my phone that the temperature in my greenhouse is 100 degrees. I open the Vivosun app and increase the fan speed and duration and 30 minutes later the temp is down to 90. Alternatively, if it gets too cold, I can turn them off. My only complaint is that the oscillation feature goes off if we lose electricity. Moving plants so I can get to the fan on the far side of the greenhouse to push the button for oscillation is not fun. That should be able to be set on the app. But still Highly recommend.

For it being small I am impressed with the wind it puts out. Great product!

Fan stopped working after 4 weeks!

I am going to try to keep this review short. A difficult task, as these fans are simply spectacular!So let's get right to the heart of the matter. If you have any kind of an indoor garden, and you want to massively improve the health and productivity of your garden, these are your fans. Only a FEW HOURS after installing these fans, I could see the difference in my plants. And within a few days, the results were very obvious and very exciting.Installing the fans could not possibly be simpler. The clamps are made to attach to poles or a frame of some kind, presumably in a grow tent. However, I do not own a grow tent but still very much wanted to employ these marvelous fans after reading all about them. So what I did was to make some poles of my own using bricks and mop handles. Most any heavy object could be used as a base, as long as it can hold a pole up vertically, such as another version I made using bricks and 3/4" PVC pipe about 5 feet in length. And since these genuinely awesome fans only weigh 2 pounds each (yes!), any pole or frame that can support 2 pounds will hold these fans beautifully. It literally takes seconds to put in a screw, adjust the tilt and clamp the fan to a frame. Installation done.These fans are also SUPER QUIET. Amazingly so! I have never used any kind of fan in any kind of application that was as quiet as these fans are. You have to be close by to tell if they are running by the sound. Which is a beautiful thing.These things move some serious air! I am only using speed setting number 2 out of 5, and I would never need to increase that speed, at least not from a close distance. And that's another wonderful feature. Whatever your horticultural setup is, and just about whatever your distance requirements are, these fans DELIVER in the air flow department. And the fan blades, the housing, indeed everything about the shape and design contributes to stellar air flow. The best I have EVER seen.It goes on and on. They have a metal gear to control the oscillation, not a plastic one. This will prevent the oscillation function from failing for a long time, if ever. The motors are "EC" motors. I didn't know what that really meant, so I had to look it up. There's quite a lot to it, but suffice to say that EC motor technology combines the best of AC and DC motors, AND results in lower operating costs and extended service life. What's not to love there?Finally, I would like to add that I contacted the company for even more details, because I like these fans so much, and wanted to know everything about them. Here is some valuable information I took away from that correspondence:These fans are designed from a special plastic that is not prone to breakdown from being near high intensity lighting, such as LED lights or other high powered lights often used in horticulture. And they are temperature resistant as well. I had to message them more than once to get all of the details, but there is in fact no minimum distance requirement for these fans to be a certain distance away from an LED light, as long as the fans aren't actually touching the light bulbs! That's outrageously awesome! Try hanging any fan made out of regular plastic only a few inches away from a high powered light for months and see what kind of results you get!The bottom line is that these fans are, in every way, worth every penny you pay for them. Yes, they are more expensive than some other fans, but the value and performance for the money are in my opinion absolutely off the charts! I love these fans so much I should apply for a public relations job with VivoSun! No kidding! I just cannot help but gush about them. If there is one single thing besides a high quality light which will catapult your indoor gardens into the stratosphere, it is installing a pair of fans such as these. You WILL SEE RESULTS IMMEDIATELY!

I purchased this fan in February and it worked great during the early spring to start vegetable seeds indoor. It was rarely used once the last frost (late April) passed, but I began to use it again this month. It started out fine for a couple of days, but stopped oscillating. I was prepared to give it two stars, one star for prompt delivery and explanation of its capabilities, and one star for the fact it seems a solid, well-made product. I wrote to VIVOSUN, not to request a refund (way outside of return time frame) but just to let them know if wasn't working. To their credit, they wrote back right away with a request for additional information so they could troubleshoot. I decided to give it another try and, of course, it is working fine now. (Murphy's Law). Since it is working as designed, I am glad to give it five stars, with a compliment to VIVOSUN for the prompt communication. UPDATE: The fan stopped working again. The seller requested a video showing the issue, which I supplied, and they are providing a refund that I can use to reorder the unit, which I will do. I still give the product five stars, as well as the seller.
