Bought 2, 7' strips but only used 1. Replace the vertical zipped on the door of my 8'x12' old Ozark Trail instant cabin. Zipper is smooth and the adhesive seems strong. There is about an inch of clot with adhesive for attachment. It was a little tricky at the curve. I cut slits in the sides and made it work. Seems durable. Not yet tested during a weekend in the dirt, but fingers crossed!

Nice zipper but the glue fails at around 20 degrees Fahrenheit. Therefore ,my greenhouse was left exposed to the cold as the zipper separated from the tarp covering it.

I placed this product on a secured end wall of a high tunnel after wiping down the area it was adhering to on a day in the mid 50s. The installation was quick and easy, the zipper was functional and everything seemed fine for a few weeks, we only entered my high tunnel twice in that time so definitely not under heavy use.. Exactly one month after being up one size of the adhesive had come undone completely and the door was compromised. During this month the winds never exceeded 17 MPH and we hardly used the door, the fact that the adhesive failed that quickly is sad. Don't buy this product for a high tunnel end wall.

This is my second purchase of this VIVOSUN zipper, and overall, I’ve been satisfied with my purchase. I initially installed one in 2022 for my grow room and used it multiple times daily. While I didn’t expect it to last forever, it worked reliably for about three years before starting to fail in January 2025. Much longer than I anticipated. Just recently the original zipper became increasingly difficult to zip smoothly, prompting me to replace it. Despite this, I repurchased the same zipper because of its durability and functionality for the price point.One thing I’ve learned is that installation matters. After attaching the zipper, make sure to remove enough of the plastic from the seam you cut for the door. If you don’t, the plastic can get caught in the zipper, potentially causing issues over time.The zipper is sturdy, easy to apply, and works exceptionally well with poly or plastic sheeting. It’s also 99.9% light-proof, which is an essential grow room setups. I would recommend this product to others looking to create a simple, reliable door in their greenhouse or other enclosures. Be gentle and it will last for several years.

Great Product and works very well. As you can see from the photos I needed a new zipper for both sides. Because I have a different style green house, I did not know at first how to add a new one. But when I found VIVOSUN 2-Pack Zipper, 3In. x 7Ft. Peel & Stick Zipper on Amazon, I was very happy to order it. I started adding tape over the old zipper and with mins, both sides of the green house had the new zippers. I like the way I could review the video regarding the zipper. Outstanding and strong. Thank you.

I just applied this to a plastic greenhouse that I've had for about 6 years. Both Zippers were busted. The adhesive is quite sticky but I was able to remove and adjust to ensure a straight line fit. Easy to trim off excess as well. We'll see how long it lasts but so far I'm impressed.

Not light proof.If you require a zipper that will not leak light then this zipper may not work for you.What I did was cut the plastic along one side of the zipper instead of down the centre so that the left over flap will cover the centre point of the zipper. It helped a bit but light still leaks by, and the fabric part also leaks light slightly. The adhesive is super strong, no complaints there. Easy to install. Just make sure you clean the surface with alcohol first for maximum adhesion.

Used on white mylar when building a new vegging grow room and worked amazing. a little light leak but not much more than any other zipper. very sticky backing that had zero issues staying on. so far 5/5 product. maybe just wish it maybe was a bit heavy duty like their grow tent zippers
