I've gone through many clear tarps for a greenhouse over the years. I knew 14 mil was not "heavy duty", so I wasn't surprised when I received this. The chart they provide says 14 mil is "medium" durability, so those who have no clue whether 14 mil is heavy duty get easily deceived by the title. This is NOT a heavy duty tarp. I only need this for less than a couple of months with no snow and very little rain, so I went ahead and bought it, but it will break if it rains heavily since my greenhouse roof, even with rafters, does not have much of an angle. If it's used for tunnels or to wrap a RV or something, that would be fine. But I know it cannot handle the weight of snow or heavy rain if it's hung.I would have given 3-4 stars if they didn't so blatantly lie about the grommets. They are NOT 16" apart but OVER THREE FEET. I struggled to fasten this to my conduit greenhouse and immediately noticed that grommets are way too far apart.Price was okay for a not heavy-duty tarp, but deception and lies deserve zero star.

Edit: Awesome customer service, was given a full refund.Was very hopeful this would hold up in the south west Tennessee sun, However, after installing it on my cattle panel hoop house, the edges started to flake off.To be fair, it is a good product if it’s not in direct sun all day. Other side is perfect.

I got a huge 18x24 ft Greenhouse Plastic Sheeting, and it is sturdier and more durable than I expected. I had used some clear plastic tarp before, but it was accidentally torn apart by strong winds. This plastic sheeting is thick and has reinforced strings inside the plastic, making it stronger and able to withstand more intense pulling forces. The edges are hemmed, and the reinforced areas around the grommets help increase the longevity of this plastic tarp. There are many eyelets along the four sides, making it easier to hang in place. The tarp is waterproof and protects my belongings well. It is also transparent, so I can see what is covered underneath. I like that the tarp is tough and easy to hang or store when it is not needed. I would definitely recommend this Clear Greenhouse Plastic Sheeting.

This clear greenhouse tarp is thicker and feels more durable than your typical greenhouse plastic covers. I also like the preinstalled grommets so I could tie it down to keep it in place. It helps to give my tropical plants some protection on those abnormal freezing days and nights we get from time to time in the winter. Just had to use it last week and so far it seems to work well. I think you will be getting good quality and good value protection here so I will be recommending it.

We had a rare taste of winter. It dipped just below freezing for 2 nighttime lows & I needed a large tarp for my palm trees but didn’t want to spend a lot on it.I saw this one which is less expensive than the completely clear ones and decided to try it.This is so much better than a regular tarp and is cheaper than a clear one so it’s a good balance.Last year I replaced all my regular tarps with the expensive completely clear ones with the rope around the edges near the grommets.You can partially see through this and since it’s 14 mil it’s thick enough without weighing so much that it pushes down on my palm tree fronds.It was heavy enough that it stayed down in the wind.I have some clear 22 mil tarps and they are heavy and hard to pull apart when unfolding a new one.This one wasn’t as hard to unfold.This one certainly looks nicer and seems more durable than a regular tarp.
