This is a quality, well-built monitor stand and easy to assemble. Most important to me is the flexibility in adjusting the height. While other options offer 4 or 5 fixed settings for adjusting the height, this one allows the height adjustment to be anywhere on the vertical pole. A surprising extra is that there is a holder on the pole to hold the two allen wrenches used to assemble and adjust it. Then, if future adjustments (height, tilt, twirl) are needed, the tools are right there!

We replaced a desk mounted monitor arm because it was leaning so badly with the weight of the monitor hanging off of it. This stand though, holds the 32" monitor perfectly fine. With some adjustment, you can rotate the screen around and adjust the height to your desired level. The base is flat and large enough that it doesn't get in the way of things on your desk and also providers great stability for the screen...no more wobbly monitor on the desk. The stand comes with the hardware and tools to put it together and I had it ready to go in just a few minutes.

This is the only white VESA mount stand I found that has a fully height-adjustable arm instead of preset notches. I don't have enough overhang on my desk to do a clamp mount. I like that, and it works pretty well after getting around some quirks of the product. It's a pretty good value for the money. The stand is sturdy and relatively functional. However, when I was setting it up, I immediately heard metal scraping the surface I was using to set it up. They have 3 thin foam pads for the foot, in the wrong places, evidently. I ended up putting a bunch of rubber feet on it.Another feature I have a problem with is the height adjustment. Having to do that with an Allen (hex) wrench while holding the display up isn't awesome, but it's functioning OK for mine. The bracket that attaches the VESA plate to the arm is pretty loose. I can turn the display several degrees each direction without moving the arm at all. I wedged a thin strip of folded paper in, and that pretty much took care of the issue. In my previous review, I noted that they had sent me a used product. They sent a partial refund and made that right.

This a heavy sturdy well made stand. All parts seem to be good quality.I bought a stand as my current monitor came with your common stand with only 5% forward tilt. l sit a bit lower than my monitor and I need to tilt it down a lot more than 5%. I had to put a piece of wood under the stand to tilt it forward more. It worked but also made the monitor less stable as it was now easy to accidentally knock over and on to the floor. This stand has a real amazing front tilt. Actually more than what is seems like in their pictures. Assembly was super easy as the instructions were about as good as they get and all of the screws were labelled in separate bags. One did not have to look at a handful of screws hoping that maybe this one is the one they want. Now if I had one complaint or advise on how this monitor could have even been better it would be to make it real easy to slide the monitor up or lower on the stand. One has to loosen the big bolt and hold on to the monitor with one hand while now sliding it up or down and then re-tighten the screw again to lock it in position. It would have been a bonus had one only needed to push in a button to slide it up or down if the stand had grooves where it would lock into. However, I have it set at the height I need and have no need to change it. Now for someone who has to move it up and down several times a day then this stand is not for you.

I love this thing. In a few minutes it was set up and being used in my studio. The stand is easy to assemble and install, has a steel base (instead of tempered glass), and has good adjustability with tilt, pivot, and height. For the price, it's hard to beat. And it came with the two necessary hex wrenches. You'll need to provide your own Phillips-head screwdriver. I'm not sure why some folks didn't care for it. It's assembly is almost a no-brainer. I did it without looking at the instructions (which I had left in another building). It locks tight into its various positions and stays put unless you leave it a bit loose. In the photo, it's holding an old monitor vertically, and you can see one of my Adobe Premiere windows—off the main screen but right there when I need it.

Just purchased my second of these stands - I love them! For the price, they cannot be beat. They're very sturdy and hold my 32" curved monitor with ease. Assembly is very simple. Functionality is great. I'm especially pleased with the swivel feature as it is not easy to turn my monitor out of the way when I don't need it. Best yet, I was missing a part in the box with my second stand and I contacted Vivo customer service via the email address on the directions. They emailed me back within an hour or so and a replacement part was on the way later that day.

WHY I BOUGHT THIS:I originally wanted to mount my monitor (Dell D3218HN, pretty heavy 32 inch monitor that pretty much pushes the boundaries on what the description says this stand can hold) on an arm, an expensive one too, but my desk was just too thick for a clamp to work and I was not about to drill a hole through it. I wanted to easily switch between portrait and landscape mode, while also having enough motion to swivel the screen around so others could see the screen if they needed. The included base for my monitor didn't allow for any kind of movement in any direction at all. After seeing that an arm wouldn't work, I tried looking around to see if there were any base replacements that allowed me to do the same thing, except as a standing piece instead of an arm. There weren't many options out there, and this one ended up being one of the cheapest options I could find. I figured if it sucked, no harm would be done at this price, and even if I liked it I wouldn't be bothered by replacing it with an arm later on for the same reason. This thing is insanely inexpensive for what it is, to me at least. It came in both black and white, which was perfect for my white monitor.SETUP/WEEK OF USE:Taking this out of the box and putting it together was incredibly simple. I had it out of the box and fully assembled (not attaching the screen) in less than 10 minutes. It looked like it was going to be complicated until I realized the majority of what was in there was extra parts for the most part. There were no scratches, dings, or imperfections on any surface of this thing, which would look very obvious on the white version. The welds holding some pieces together, which aren't visible when put together, looked very crappy and cheap but not enough to really make me nervous about its integrity.Sliding the monitor into place was fine but screwing the thumb screw that holds them together was a little awkward and required a few attempts to screw it in correctly (it goes in at an odd angle and the plate connected to the monitor has to be held a certain way for the hole to line up, no big deal) and tightening all the screws down with the supplied tools was simple enough for me to do without needing anyone to hold the monitor up, although some of them required a LOT!!! of force to tighten down, which I had to do in order for this thing to hold my chunky monitor up. I can still rotate and swivel it no problem, it just really had to be tightened quite hard to not sag.The one thing I had a major issue with during setup though, was the part that connects to the pole that would allow you to adjust the height. It's pretty much a plastic ring inside a metal ring that gets tightened around the pole, and adjusting the height is just sliding this ring up and down the pole. This mechanism is frankly absolutely horrible. This was very frustrating to set up because if I tightened it enough to hold my monitor up without sliding back down on its own, it was simply too tight to be able to comfortably adjust or even really move at all when it came to height adjustment, but loosening it even a little would cause my monitor to slide right back down, scary fast sometimes. I had to very precariously hold the monitor by the mechanism connecting the stand to the back of it and have it lifted to the height I wanted it to be at with one hand while using a huge amount of force trying to tighten this screw using an Allen wrench with the other hand. I was definitely pretty sweaty by the end of this. Again, this monitor is on the maximum end of the weight/size they recommend, so I understand this might be a me problem. I left it at the highest it can be at, since this size monitor needs to be that way anyways in order to rotate completely without hitting the table, and tightened it to "F you" levels and decided that this stand adjusts in every direction but in height. Totally fine with me, but I removed a star in ease of assembly for that since it's a feature that could and should be a little better that I can't use because it isn't.Over all, after that setup it's a very sturdy and attractive stand. Kind of a huge base, but if that means it isn't falling over I'm fine with it. It wobbles a little when the desk does, but pretty much any stand or arm will to this amount. Swiveling and rotating this monitor is surprisingly smooth and completely silent, no huge amounts of force needed and no creaking/grinding noises, little to no wobbling even! It just works exactly as you'd want it to, aside from the height adjustment that is. The built in Allen wrench holder that also doubles as a cable routing system at the same time is very very simple and clean and useful. I will never lose these important (though very standard and easily replaceable) tools and my monitor and peripheral cables look cleaner than it did before. It doesn't detract from the look at all and actually cleans it up a bit.The final verdict here is that in most circumstances, this thing is an absolute no-brainer and a steal for the price and is an excellent upgrade from most default monitor stands. I bet that if you had a monitor that isn't testing their claims of exactly how heavy and large a monitor it can ACTUALLY hold, you may not even have the singular problem I had. It's astounding that this is only $25-$30. If you need something like this and your monitor is 32 inches or smaller, GET THIS ONE!
