I spent $85 would I do it again?. Packaged arrived very neatly. I was excited to get underway. I unloaded my desk so I could tip it on its side to avoid working upside down on the floor, not everyone has this option,. The included instructions were very poor, and it noted that you align the bracket so it is very near the front edge of the desk. I did that. After assembling everything and tilting the desk back up and sliding in the rest of the unit I found that when it is stored all the way, it's still sticks out 3 inchs. Not good as I do a lot of drawing and it's in the way. So I took the desk back down. Removed the bracket moved it in 3 inches and re-mounted it. This solved the problem. But it wasted another 30 minutes that could've been addressed easily in the crappy instructions. Even their product video shows them mounting it wrong. (the insall video runs at the end of the sales video. Why? Whoever made the video could have done better, and mounting it the way they did I would have used a clamp to hold it in place while i drill the holes . I don't understand why an $85 product can't have a good instruction sheet to avoid extra work and possibly a return back to Amazon. The second thing is, I noticed another reviews people said it wasn't very sturdy. It's made out of very heavy metal. I find it to be sturdy enough for me because I don't pound on the keyboard. So no issue. The issue is there's no bearings for this to slide on. They include (and I have a photo of it here) a little metal runner that goes on each side of the park that moves so you're not sliding metal on metal. I sprayed a little silicone in there to help it move smoother, but it's still not very smooth and I'm concerned how long this little piece of plastic is gonna last. The rest of the mechanism is fine it tilts and swivels, just as they show it. In their eagerness to get a sale, they left out and didn't spend the time and helping the customer install it. I have 200+ videos on my website, showing my customers how to install fix and repair things. The seller seems to not want to spend that time. Too bad it pays off. I was hoping for a high-quality unit and I would not buy it again. I'd buy a cheap one that has rails with bearings in them so you can slide in and out as needed easily with one hand.. You're not going to do this with this product. Thank you for reading my review.

Very attractive and well built, heavy duty metals, much better than alot of other similar products, worth the money, though I wish it cost less, install was simple... The track slid kind of rough, used some WD40 and worked like a charm.

I was NOT prepared to be working from home. My husband is currently working on a folding table while I work at our ikea desk. Definitely not an ideal setup. I started developing back and shoulder pain from the desk being too high—so I decided to get a keyboard tray.It was really difficult to figure out which one to get online. They honestly all sound the same. I liked this one because: 1) I can get it in white so it matches our desk 2) it wasn’t the most expensive keyboard tray 3) it has many adjustments that others don’t and 4) it is wide enough to fit both my mouse and keyboard.I do really like all the adjustment options because I was able to get the height and tilt just right so I don’t have back/shoulder pain like I used to. I don’t find that the knob gets in the way like other reviewers mentioned. There is an adjustment in place for the knob to make it so it doesn’t stick out and poke you.The one major drawback I am finding is that it does not pull/push in/out very well. It definitely feels like it’s dragging the whole way—like a drawer without a drawer-slide. I might try WD-40 and see if that helps at all. But at the end of the day, i pull it out once, and push it back once. Not really a deal-breaker.I didn’t attach the wrist rest because I felt like it just got in the way and used valuable “desk” space that I would rather use for my keyboard/mouse.It’s weight limit is really low, so make sure you’re not leaning on it. Not very hard to do if you use it properly.Other reviewers mentioned it being low quality... i don’t find that to be the case. It isn’t the fanciest keyboard tray, but it’s not cheap either. You’re paying for the quality of materials and ergonomics. And I think it’s a fair price.

I was surprised that the product was so heavy, but that helps with taking the bounce out of it. The wrist pad was not attached (came as a separate piece where you could "stick on" to your platform. I chose not to use it since I use a Contour Roller Mouse which goes below my keyboard, and needed the space to fit everything in). I love that you can swivel your keyboard, so now, I have my monitor, keyboard/chair on an angle letting me have more desk space. Also can tilt either forward or backward. Be careful that you select the right keyboard platform. I had measured and the 12 inch tongue model fit just fine under my desk, but when I actually ordered, I selected the 18 inch model (hadn't read the description again). I did not realize there were two different models, so the 18 inch got sent back -- maybe on the actual picture, it could have 18" and 12" tongue to help distinguish as the pictures are identical, I believe. It was easy to assemble when using a drill to drill the holes in your desk. Will be purchasing another one for another desk in the future.

The price is good for the quality. Took 5 minutes to install and after foregoing the supplied gel wrist wrest which may compete for the space needed by a keyboard that has one built-in, the melamine coated wooden board/tray is a good size. It will just fit a large keyboard and a mouse. The mechanism is easy enough to adjust and allows a lot of tilt closest-edge-down and a small amount of tilt the other way. All in all the range of slope seems to be generous enough. Adjustment is assisted by a spring so it doesn't just flop when loosened. After tightening it into position it stays where it is. There is still some give in all the joints if you bump the tray but it all settles back to where you set it originally - its not a robotic arm lined with precision bearings and manipulated by hydraulics after all. Tray slides out easily enough to click into a semi-locked position when fully extended. Table surface can be swivelled left and right freely (can't be locked into place) but has the right amount of resistance to make it sturdy. The whole thing takes a fair amount of weight, I can rest my forearms on it but of course it will flex a little. Obviously you can't sit on it or use it as a baby-change table but if the cat jumps up on it, it should survive. I type at 100wpm and use a kinesis (freestyle2) split keyboard to combat RSI so getting into the right seating position is critical to my work, this particular tray table seems perfect for that.
