I am a beginner, so these are amateur opinions.I got this bow because I wanted to have a different bow-rosin combination. I bought one, but it got lost in the mail, so I ordered a new one. In the end, I received both with a day of difference. The bow feels pretty good, and the horsehair is wide and looks nice. It comes with no rosin and is completely new.I have never used a carbon fibre bow before. I decided that my wood bow would hold a mix of Cecilia Solo + Cecilia Sanctus. I used each rosin on each new bow to have three different experiences. Doing this taught me a lot about how bows + rosin affect the sound and your experience.I recommend applying the rosin in small passes; go plenty. Brush the rosin on the horsehair to get it into; the Cecilia rising already brings a device to do this. They tested each bow and made a lengthy note to see the missing spots. Whenever the sound was weak, I applied more rosin. After cleaning the strings with the cloth, the magic started. I have a Viotti with a vibrant sound voice and one with a more expressive voice. This shows that the bows are made consistently, deliver what is expected, and influence performance. It's money well invested.

I tried tightening and loosening it to no avail. It arrived with stray loose hairs. I tried getting a replacement and I have the same issue with the new one.

I am a rock'n'roll bassist and I play violin (fiddle) just for the fun of it. I don't read and am completely self-taught. I bought a cheap Chinese cello online. Why? why not. $160 dollars. When I got it, even I could tell the strings were Black Diamond-ish awful. I chunked those and got some D'Addario heli-core strings that cost as much as the cello itself.....Major improvement. I have been playing it regularly and have been eliminating lots of squeaks and groans from my playing. It is impossible to even play a Christmas carol without some squeaking though. I assumed my lack of training and any real technique were the reason. When the tuners on the tailpiece crumbled I got online to find a new tailpiece. I did and new bows popped up. I knew mine was a cheap piece of crap so I read some reviews. Folks were saying their schoolkids were having major results with this bow. Sooooo.... I ordered one, also the dark rosin that they sell. (I mean, why not?) I rosined up the new bow and OMG! I immediately sounded WAY better. With care the squeaking in my playing is gone. Really! The cello sounds better. I recommend this bow 100%. It sounds so good I ordered one for my violin.

Consistent tone, lightweight, easy to get going. Very reliable to play on cue. Good value

I bought this for my daughter when her last bow wouldn't tighten or loosen anymore. She likes how it looks. It feels great in her hand and sounds great.

As an actual cellist, I can tell you that this product is legit!! I’m so impressed! I rarely write reviews and had very low expectations for a bow that cost so little (my main bow is many thousands of dollars). Really only got it to have as a backup while getting my main bow rehaired or for playing a lot of col legno, but I’m very pleasantly surprised. The weight and balance is good, the stiffness and response is good, it looks good (nice detail with the abalone and silver), and the sound is really excellent for the price. Pair it with a high quality rosin to help improve grip on the C string, which is the only slight issue I’m noticing right off the bat. Otherwise, $75 quite well spent!

This made a huge difference in my cello sound. The response is so much more instant, nuanced and pure! The true mongolian horse hair takes rosin so well and then does it's job to perfection.Very good bow for the price and to be carbon fiber reinforced is just the icing!
