タワーにエアレータを設置して赤ワインを注ぐと、手持ちに比べてエアレータの空気取り入れ穴から逆流が顕著になり、テーブルマットがワインで汚れました。単なるエアレータの展示用に過ぎません。

Looks nice but seems identical to the 'Magic aerator' set that I bought for another friend, other than the branding. Also Venturi almost twice the price. To be honest it was so hubby can stand it on the table as a show piece and add a bit of theatre to the whole thing. At the end of the day the aerator is the star.

If you are looking to have a party, then this fun gadget is nice to be part of the "show" for your friends and family when pouring red wine. It allows you to get a lot of wine glasses ready, open a couple of bottles and then just start pouring wine in an assembly type line for everyone. They get to see the system at work and you have a nice staging area for your guests to also use it (after the first glass, shouldn't everyone be a bit less formal and pour their own anyway?). :) This way your Vinturi stays put, never gets lost or "grows legs" on its own and disappears.Looks nice too for neo classic or transitional and modern styles if you care about those types of decorating things (like my wife does, and asked me to put that in this review). Seems a lot to pay for a lump of perspex, however the aerating gadget has been used every week for 12 months and in the end we could not resist the stand - no regrets.

Having used the Vinturi Wine aerator for over 12 months, this seemed the ideal accessory.Sadly not! Superb design & asthetically pleasing, but just TOO TALL!The photo used in the Vinturi marketing blurb, shows the wine glass just short of the Aerator when inserted into the Retro Stand - seemed ideal. The truth is, this glass must be over 9" tall and with any "normal" sized wine glasses - I use big glases easily capable of holding 250ml - the gap between the bottom of the aerator & the wine glass is so much that the wine splashes all over the table - exactly the reason I bought it in the first place! A colleague in work also bought one and had exactly the sale experience - mine went back. Come on Vinturi - design a sensible sized unit that "does the job".

Great product! I use a Vinturi aerator most times when pouring wine, but the issue has always been the balancing act of keeping it over the glass, the wine bottle over the aerator and not over or under filling the aerator. Oh, and ensuring your fingers are not covering the air holes! This tower does it with elegance and style. A great design, my Riedel glasses fit perfectly under the spout, leaving me to just pour and keep the wine at the right level in the aerator. Leave the glass in place for a few seconds after you've finished pouring and there's no drips ... better yet, you don't have to look for somewhere to put the aerator down. Now, if only there was a way to quieten the conversation stopping slurping noise when you aerate!

First let me note that I am not a wine snob and rarely purchase any bottles priced over $15-$20. I am still suspect of aerating in general but perhaps I don't have as refined palate as others. Now for the review....I purchased the tower to go with our Vinturi aerator we had already purchased. It was an Xmas gift for the wife because we always needed extra hands to hold the aerator, wine bottle or glass. I thought this would solve that issue.What I Liked: --Very well made. --Impressive styling. --Works well, as expected, with Vinturi aerator --Comes with nice packaging that can be used to store the unit. --Elementary assembly. --Does exactly what it is intended to do...hold the Vinturi wine aerator.What I Disliked: --Nothing really except that I don't feel it is a great value. While functional and nicely styled, $41 seemed a bit pricey. $25 would seem to be a good value.Ultimately, we returned it because of the cost and the fact that we didn't want to leave the tower out on the counter (even though it is aesthetically pleasing) and didn't want to haul it out every time we had a glass of wine (usually nightly). I gave it 4 stars because I don't want to knock a product that looks and works fine but isn't right for us as consumers. Put it this way, if this is something you want then go get it. It works exactly as designed and looks cool (certainly a talking piece). If you drink wine daily, you should ensure you have easy access to it or prepare to haul it out each time.

The packaging here shows the tower and aerator. I 'assumed' that it was included.Big Mistake! I had ordered one of these months ago and loved it. It came as a complete set.So for Christmas I ordered four more to give away as gifts. It was not only embarrassing,it made me angry and I felt I got screwed!Shame on the folks who misrepresented this visually. It shows something different fromwhat the product is.Yes, it says Tower... but it shows the complete package. I thought I was getting what I previouslyordered, not realizing there was something different. NO GOOD!And what's worse, Amazon takes NO Responsibility that it is transacted on their site. Shame on you too!It cost me over $100 more to make good on my gift giving (which is a crappy way to do business).Shame on you for your poor illustration of what you're selling. My complaints fell on deaf ears!In addition Amazon, themselves offers Free S & H on items above $25.00. Nice. However, when youorder something for $24.95 and are a nickel away, you're not allowed to order more than one of those items.Sneaky and again, poor business.I am thinking long and hard about supporting these folks as they business practices lack integrity...I wish the folks at Amazon clean up their mess because they are here to provide a service to the public. It's notall about money boys and girls~! Get up to speed with serving humanity already.

I can't tell you how disappointed when I opened up the package and found the main part of the product missing. This was a Christmas present for my husband. I couldn't get a replacement as the store was out of this item. Now I have to send it back and hope that I can find this product online. I would hope that in the future this company would be more responsible when checking their packaging.

I've used the Vinturi wine aerator before and really like it. My problem is that when I viewed this product on the site, it had three pictures. One showed just the tower but one of the other pictures also showed the tower with the aerator attached to the stand. I was a little unsure if the tower included the aerator but since one picture showed the two together and the price was a fair amount higher than I had paid for the aerator itself, I assumed the package would include both. It does not! I found the advertisement to be somewhat misleading and it ended up costing me quite a bit more (and some embarassment) when I had to purchase the aerator separately to make my gift usable for the recipient.
