Your cart is empty.Oxygenating your wort prior to pitching the yeast is a vital step in the brewing process that many brewers do not pay much attention to. Ideally your wort would have an oxygen level of 8 PPM (parts per million) however most brewers only achieve 2.5-4.5 PPM without using an aeration system. Using this wort aeration system you can easily achieve much higher oxygen levels by injecting pure o2! Regulator attaches directly to a disposable oxygen tank-NOT INCLUDED(available at most hardware stores) Using a wort aeration system will not only be far more safe than shaking your carboy around but will also contribute to lower final gravities, quicker fermentation, and a cleaner fermentation. Cleaning your aeration system is as easy as putting your air tubing and oxygen diffusion stone in your sanitized solution. But can be fully disassembled for deep cleaning. The coupling between the wand and the stone are where the O2 bubbles leak from. No bubbles come from the stone itself. Poor design of the coupling. Totally worthless design. Very disappointed with this.

The regulator threads are too large to fit on a disposable or refillable cylinder. I'm sending it back

Easy to set up and use. If using for home brewing, you should look into getting a gauge to control the amount of O2 coming out of the canister. Also, don't touch the air stone since the oil in your fingers will clog the pores.

Oh man, does this little contraption get oxygen to those little yeasts! Beats the heck out of pouring 50 pound buckets into other buckets (repeatedly) for five minutes to aerate the little yeasty boogers! My favorite new fermentation aid!

As others have mentioned, it does not come with any connectors to attach to wand and oxygen tank. Otherwise good product

Item arrived missing the barb where tubing attaches to the wand (one can see the barb in the descriptive picture). Without the barb, O2 leaks rendering the tool mostly ineffective. I was able to rig a work around, but the tool still leaks a good deal of 02 during use.

Would be perfect if it came with two clamps. Works well otherwise.
