It is a bit flimsy and delicate. I don't plan to knock it around, but it would not stand up to heavy duty use

No don't throw it away! It's a very inexpensive tripod for my trip to Mexico 🇲🇽. Lots of people complain about their tripods getting taken by airport security from their carry on luggage. I'm not going to take my $100.00 + tripod to be taken away by airport security. If I lose this one no biggie. It's very flimsy but what do you expect? 🤔 It's cheap. Hopefully it holds my 4/3ds camera. I think it will do fine. Just need to be extremely careful obviously. It's also going to fit in my carry on luggage great. Wish me luck!

If you want the weakest, poorest, flimsiest tripod ever made this is it. If falls apart doesn't hold weight and cannot even lock in place. POORLY MADE and it's a waste. I don't even write reviews but I had to. Don't waste your time with this one. If I could give it a negative 5 stars I would ...

Like I say in the title, I tried using a small projector and it ended up bending the legs and falling over after a few hours.But let me tell you this thing has been through it with the fact that I’ve used it in water in stream with decently moving water meaning some of the parts are rested, but it still seems to work. The plastic still seems to actually grip, which is impressive.I can indeed, and in fact, still use it for my phone just fine. In fact, I might buy another one.I just wish they listed a higher quality option next to this one so you can get the cheap one or you can get the slightly better one with better quality.But for the about I believe $10-$12 I spent on this a while back. It was really worth it and it’s pretty tall as well. .I’m 6 foot three so I feel like my pretty tall is gonna be tall for anyone who needs this.Just understand that it’s really cheap and really crappy and the bars themselves are hollow especially when extended completely so they will bend really easily especially under pressure but I’m talking about like 5 pounds of pressure like my projector lol

It works, but I suggest being very careful not to break it. Very fragile. But inexpensive. For something light like a smart phone, fine, but I wouldn't use it for anything heavier.

Very cheap build but you will not mind because it is fine don't do some 20lb item but for a phone or lightweight camera go for it...
