I like that I am able remove the fingernail clippers I had on my keychain since this has one included.I like that is has a blade for opening packages and a file for my fingernails.The scissors, toothpick, and tweezers will be used minimally, but they are much appreciated!Dislikes...it is just a bit thicker than I thought it would be but it it reduces the number of items on my keychain so the dislike is a dis-don't-care. :)The nail clipper ejector is extremely helpful as well!!

This little Swiss Army gizmo actually rivals its larger brother in how often I use it, it's so handy -- and compact to carry! Great for the odd time you might need to slice open a package but the fingernail clippers included in the thing changes the game! Mine has become my always-at-hand way to keep myself clipped-and-cleaned-up, nail-wise and, yeah, it's always there for opening my latest Amazon purchase! Liked the one I got for a gift so much that I've started giving 'em out as gifts, myself!

You can not get wrong with victorinox. Well made and suitable for carrying with you in the pocket or keychains for trimmings your fingernails. Solid product for men.

I have routinely kept the small Victorinox knives in checked luggage and on my key ring, as the little scissors, knife, tweezers and toothpick are well constructed and very useful for everyday needs. Having a condition that causes brittle fingernails, I have purchased a variety of fingernail clippers from different manufacturers, only to have each “clipping” be more like crushing and result in broken fingernail tips fly through the air. By accident I learned Victorinox included fingernail clippers in this multi-tool knife. Just as their blades and scissors are remarkably sharp, the fingernail clippers actually cut versus crush. They are not as ergonomic as finer stand-alone clippers, but these are the sharpest fingernail clippers I have ever used. Add to the clippers a file that smooths any sharp edge and fingernail care is quickly accomplished, thanks to this find. I will purchase more, to keep with luggage, my glove box and key ring. For anyone wanting very sharp fingernail clippers that cut rather than crush, these are worth the expense.

This thing is quite compact for all the tools it contains, and the clippers have a blade that's maybe 1 cm wide and a gap that might not accommodate very thick or curved toenails. But they are very sharp and sturdy. The little file and blade and scissors are all quite functional and well made. And of course there's the toothpick and tweezers that are the same across Victorinox pocket knives.I really like the plastic mechanism for releasing the nail clipper tool from the handle. It works well and keeps the tool lightweight. There is some give in the plastic on the backside, but I have to press in the middle with more pressure than I'd put in that spot during any normal use, to see the flexing of the plastic. I see no fit or finish issues in my example. Everything lines up perfectly across the different layers of plastics and metals.

I picked this one up when I started seeing it in stock more readily and I'm glad I got one. If you want something that is made more for personal care this is the Victorinox for you. It's less tool-filled than the Compact but has everything you need for self-care in a nice small package. The nail clippers are very sharp and cut incredibly clean. They have enough power for both our kids thinner fingernails, and thicker adult toe-nails.I almost wish they took the pen-knife out of here to make it possibly more travel safe (though there is never a guarantee with the TSA). The pen-knife could come in handy, but for handling tags or anything like that the scissors do a better job. The Victorinox mini pen-knives feel so flimsy I worry about using it for too much.The thing was so convenient even my wife ended up wanting one to use so I ended up getting her a nice wood-scaled one. Definitely recommend if you need a nice pair of clippers to keep with you and want a few extra little personal care tools.

Very happy with purchase, another high quality Victorinox product that will no doubt last a lifetime. I have thick fingernails and hangnails that require constant trimming and filing so having the Victorinox 580 clipper / knife on my keychain with me at all times has turned out to be a blessing. The clippers are rugged, sharp and allow you to cut nice and short or just trim jagged spots, whether on nails or rough skin. The file is a nice blend of coarse enough to round off edges quickly with fine enough to not leave a rough surface when finishing off. It has a great little pair of scissors with serrated edges to grip as it cuts and a very sharp knife blade making it an all around must have for me. I pray that I don’t forget I have it on my keychain when traveling by air as I would hate to lose it at a security check. If I do lose it, I will definitely replace it immediately.
