I got this when replacing all my black plastic utensils, and I'm pleasantly surprised. It's super light and flexible, so it fits under anything. Plenty strong for most purposes.

This spatula made my Christmas cookie baking so much easier this year! Love how its slender build and beveled edge made it slide right under freshly baked cookies, keeping them in one piece. I’ll be finding many more uses for this handy spatula in the future!

I needed a very thin spatula to turn eggs in my cast iron pan, and this spatula is eggcellent for that use. It's also perfect for turning/transferring delicate fish fillets as well. The edge is very sharp, so there's no crumpling of food when you're trying to insert it underneath - it just glides right under. I wash it by hand due to the wooden handle, and it's easy to clean if you rinse it right after use. I was hesitant to purchase it due to the high price, but have found it's worth it.

I bought this spatula and now I can’t live without it! Durable, easy to use, good at getting stuck food off pans. Very flexible and thin as well to help with easy flipping. Great product!

This is called a fish turner but it’s great for a lot more. It’s flexible but also wrong enough to flip large cuts of meat, etc. fantastic for eggs.If you have uncoated stainless or carbon steel frying pans - this is a must have.

Works well but came unfinished wood, I had to oil it with beeswax several times and polish it down with micro mesh glass sandpaper my wife found the original finished too uncomfortable I expect better from Victorinox as I own several of their fantastic pocket knives and other kitchen utensils plus there competition from Boker. Great tool but a bit of a rip off at this price for 30 mins of my own hand work finishing and repairing when they could have spent 20 seconds polishing it on a wheel and 5 seconds making the handle even. Also there is a cracked size gap between the base steel and the wood handle so I am looking forward to having to re handle it myself in the future (moisture damage will occur).

You should know that this is not a victorinox 3 inch spatula. What you get is another brand called Pratik. I was pretty annoyed when I opened it. The bait and switch! But after using it, I have to grudgingly admit - it’s pretty great. Good quality, does what I want. So 4 stars, lose one for the sly switch.

This spatula is a great shape and well made. The only down side is the wood handle is smooth but unfinished, so, since I'm sensitive to textures at times, the unfinished wood, when dry, has an off-putting texture that gives me the hebegeebees sometimes (like rubbing the pointy end of a fork on a plate, or scratching fingernails on a chalkboard). I'm considering finishing the handle with Danish oil (Tried & True, which I think is food-safe and non-toxic), or maybe a food-safe poly finish, which I hope takes care of that problem. The wood handle also means that one must hand wash the spatula (or expect the wood handle to split eventually, if it goes in the dishwasher, although I have not that problem with this spatula). The Cook's review complains about the metal edge rubbing against the hand when holding it, but I did not experience any edges or rubbing (only the minor complaint about the texture of the unfinished wood).I would prefer the same spatula with a solid Richlite or polypropylene/polyethylene handle so the texture was nicer against my hand, and so it was definitely dishwasher-safe.

I bought this because it was recommended by several kitchen utensil review sites i trust. According to them, it's not the absolute best, but it's very close to the top ones (especially when considering the price). The other good fish turners were Mercer Hell’s Handle Fish Spatula, Wusthof Fish Spatula and LamsonSharp Slotted Turner, all more expensive than this. I wanted something with a wooden handle, so it doesn't melt when left on the hot side of a pan (all the other spatulas above can suffer from this, more or less). It's Made in USA, the metal used seems good quality and is flexible just enough without feeling flimsy (this is important for a fish spatula). The tip is sharpened (but not like a knife) and there's a curve at the spatula's end. All these things are crucial for a good fish spatula. This is one of them.CON:-the handle could use some more polishing: the walnut wood is a bit rough and the metal handle protrudes the wooden sides just enough to feel it with your palm. This can be resolved with a little sandpaper and it is a small thing to nitpick; i wish i could give it 4.5 stars.ps: don't put it in the dishwasher because it has a wood handle (doh!).
