Liked the size but could have been a bit larger and still fit in a Weber 1200. Also which the bars we on a diagonal.

This griddle is perfect for use on my outdoor grill. I am using it to cook packets of skinless chicken breasts at the same time as I grill steaks on another part of my grill. This is to satisfy the different dietary needs of the people in my family in just one cook.

Just a little heavy, but it is a cast iron product. Very stable too leaving it on stove or BBQ pit. I’ve use it on a potable stove and as teppanyaki last week. Very good product especially for dinner of two. Highly recommended.

I used this in my oven (brushed with olive oil) on 450° to cook chicken souvlaki skewers. Put the skewers on and baked them for 20 mins, rotating. They turned out great!! Even heat distribution, easy to handle the grill as it’s a decent size. Def very happy with this purchase!

I place it on side of the BBQ grill to create a non-sticky and oily plate for meatballs, chicken and fish. It works perfectly well.

I left a 1 star rating before the same day I got it delivered was the same day i decided I need my money back !I received my item and I was super excited about it ! I was planning to cook steak and chicken on the grill side! However when I washed it it immediately rusted ! I even dried it with a rag and it still rusted ! Also the handles smelled so bad like metal as if I was working on a car! .I’m super surprised how other liked this product! Because for myself it did not work like I read in the reviews . :(

I was looking for a narrow griddle for my Samsung gas range but didn’t want to fork out the extra money for the griddle that goes with the range. Now that I understand how to season & clean a case iron griddle I love it. It’s a easy surface to make a couple of eggs or grill some bacon. It is not a large griddle but it works for my small kitchen since I can keep it on the range while I use the other burners.

I really like this because it fits on top of the fairly narrow 5th (middle) burner grate on my Frigidaire range. Others I had hoped to use were too wide and too long. This one is the perfect dimensions. This is very versatile because it is a grill surface on one side and a flat griddle on the other. The wide handles are extra useful and easy to grab with a potholder or gloves when this thing really heats up. It does heat up well because of the heavy cast iron, and it’s pretty easy to “season”. My only complaint is that it is really heavy and I find it difficult to pick up and put in place on the stovetop. But that’s my own limitation. It’s smaller than most but a very effective good quality addition to the stovetop.

Great little grill! Fits Frigidaire 5-burner professional range perfectly (took a lot of searching to find one narrow enough). It's cast iron, so you need to treat it like cast iron:1) Wash with very hot water and a rough natural bristle brush as soon as possible after cooking (soap is usually not necessary and will strip your pan's seasoning);2) Towel dry it well to avoid rust;3) Heat it on the stove on low and re-season it with a bit of oil (rub it in with a rag held with tongs until it smokes a bit) and let it cool before you put it away. Do these 3 simple things every time you cook with it and this grill will be something you can give to your grandchildren. Be patient, this will get better and better as you use it. Nothing beats good, old, well-seasoned cast iron cookware. (We have some in our family that have been in use for at least 4 generations, no joke!)Don't put it in your dishwasher.Don't leave it out damp to air dry or covered in food so it can rust and become impossible to clean.Don't buy this if you expect it is toxic Teflon. It is not.But a beautify device for putting a little color on your meat, searing fish, grilling some veggies it is!Happy Cooking!

Griddle I received is not what is in the picture. In the product description it says 12.5 x 7.5 inch, the one i got says 8.3" x 13" on the box and that is what it measures to the outside edge of the cooking surface. With handles it is 16" long and weighs 6.8 lb. Inside area is 7.75" x 12.25" which includes a 1/2 wide very shallow drip in groove along the one long edge. I would prefer no drip groove but think it is small and shallow enough to not interfere too much. This griddle was purchased to go over the center oval burner on my new LG stove. Plan was to get one small enough that can leave it in position all the time and still be able to use the other burners. This one is slightly to large for that. Able to leave the griddle in place and put sauce pans on the other burners, A 10" fry pan is slightly off center. If the griddle is pushed to the back of the stove then the 10" fry pan will sit correctly but nothing bigger. But i have found that the griddle is small enough to be stored on one of the back burners and leave the other 3 round burners available for larger pans. The surface of the griddle is rough compared to the 5 year old double burner lodge it is 'replacing'. But i think the lodge was also rough when new.I like it enough to give it a try. It does fit well over the oval burner. Will know soon enough as we use the griddle multiple times a week for breakfast and lunch.Note all measurements are for the flat side, never going to use the grooved side, but the grooved side is similar to the flat side (same dimensions), has 1/2" drip groove as well.Update:I have had the griddle a few weeks now. The original coating made the food taste not so good, so I hit it with some 120 grit sand paper till the coating came off. It was pitch black and had a nasty smell, the same flavor it imparted into the food. I continued sanding with a random orbit sander till all the high spots were knocked down. Color at this point was shiny silver. I then seasoned it and it turned into a nice reddish brown color like it should be.Capacity is ok, At one time can fry 2 eggs or 3 pieces of French toast or 2 pancakes or 2 grill cheese or the house favorite scrambled eggs in the pan with ham. Have had no issues with food sticking and the food tastes great after using oil, bacon, butter, and various meat fats a couple times. The small size makes it easier to clean and store than the 2 burner sized one. The heat adjustments are much easier with the 1 oval burner vs 2 round burners. The reason I use cast iron is so I can use my metal tools and the flavor it imparts into the food. The best tool I found is the Stainless-Steel Spatula from Lee Valley. It does not look like much but it is one great spatula.
