The material of consruction for this griddle is not a coating that peels or degrades over time. Residualcooked and stuck material easily slides off and cleaning with just soap and water. Even steel wool will not damage the griddle surface.But very pricy. For that price, you can easily buy a whole set from another manufacturer though not of the same quality.The large size was designed to span across two burners, but the middle is not heated , so the cooking must be shifted ocassionally.

Unlike other reviews I saw, we did not have an issue with sticking. Making pancakes they never stuck. We did follow the instructions for seasoning which is not difficult or time consuming.Where I dropped stars though, and why we returned it, is on two points. We have an induction cooktop with a dedicated mode for two burners working as one. This is specifically for griddles like this one. From the promotional materials I was expecting the griddle to evenly distribute the heat but that was not what we experienced. The next part was the amount of heat required to cook. Our experience was that medium high heat was still required like any of our other pans, not the medium heat as claimed. Both of these resulted in tough pancakes that were partially browned, not like we got from the traditional means.I am sure this pan will work quite well for many people, and perhaps better with a gas cooktop. For us it did not live up to expectations vs a solution half the price.

I have used this everyday since it was delivered. It performs just as I expected. No food sticks, quick clean up. Works and fits perfectly on my new Wolf 36" induction cooktop. I use setting 5 or lower. I also love that you can use any utensil with this. However, in the 4 months of owning it, only using to cook pancakes, eggs & bacon on nothing higher than temp setting 5, the pan is raised in the center and everything runs to the sides. It is not as flat as it once was and is not at all what I expected ir want in my cookware. I am very disappointed in the non lasting quality/defectiveness.

I absolutely love my hexclad pans and I've been on the lookout for a deal on the griddle so when it went on sale I finally got it. It is big and I can cook so much food at once. My induction cooktop has a side where I can sync burners for the griddle and I wasn't sure if it would heat evenly, but it does a pretty decent job. It's not perfect, but good enough to not be annoying.Nothing sticks to these pans, they are just the best!!

It had been about 8-10 years we had been using our previous non-stick griddle. It was perfect. Hefty, sturdy, everything cooked perfectly on it. But then the non-stick was wearing away and we were concerned we were slowly poisoning ourselves with residual broken down forever chemicals. Time for a new griddle.Exstensive online research lead me to several very expensive options. Hexclad came in showing well, decided to give them a try.It’s much thinner than my old griddle, which I wa sconcerend about, but you can cook at much lower temps and get the same results. I might need to get the set.The only downside, is the sidewalls are angled rather than 90*. So when you’re cooking anything that might roll to the side like scrambled eggs or pancakes, they can slide off the edge. Wish it was a 90-degree angle.

This pan is amazing. So glad I took a chance on it. Seasoned it just like the instructions and it is the most non-stick pan I have ever used in 45 years of cooking. The only concern is that the pan is not completely flat. There is a very slight curve up toward the center that makes stuff slide to the outside. Normally, this would not be an issue but this pan is so non-stick that stuff slides very freely.

They are amazing pans for cooks! Even heat distribution. Wonderful searing. Worth the money spent as they will last a lifetime!

It doesnt really heat evenly across two burners on an electric range. Its going to take some practice to use well. Item is good quality. I just don't like it yet. Hopefully, the cooking experience will get better with practice.

Our new induction cooktop has the ability to cook with multiple zones and it was difficult to find a griddle pan that would work with it as many of the pans that I’ve seen are meant for barbecues or other types of ranges or cooktops. I have a problem lifting heavy pans and didn’t want to go with cast iron. This one is a little pricey but it works very well and is sold but not too heavy for me! It heats very evenly and the non-stick surface works very well once you follow the instructions for seasoning. I’m very happy with this purchase.

Loved this grille. It’s worth every penny. The heating is always even and you can use it on a low setting for pancakes or a higher setting for tortillas. It’s the best!!!! You will definitely not be disappointed!
