i took one star off b/c there's not much on the roll - 60 inches. that's about 17 cents per inch.But, it seems to work well even in 30 degree temps. I used it on two bolts that hold my lawn tractor seat in place. The seat was loose and finally fell off the other day just after I finished clearing my driveway. The main hold-down 12mm bolt had kinda stripped out the nut in the bottom of the seat and a smaller 7mm bolt was missing altogether. I ran a thread chaser thru the 12mm nut, applied this tape to the threads of the 12mm bolt, and it's tight for the first time since I've had the tractor. I also got a 7mm bolt that was previously missing and applied this product to it also - nice and tight. The big nut in the seat (not me) was loosey-goosey and I'm not sure a liquid threadlocker would have worked even if was warm outside. So, kinda pricey but seems to have worked when other methods would not. Time will tell if it holds up.I use that tractor to move 50 pound sacks of goat chow from the driveway to the goat feeder. I have no way to move it thru the snow otherwise so it was important to fix it quickly, which is why I spent the ten bucks on an unfamiliar product. I'm glad I did.

If you have a really fine or tight thread its really hard to get this to work. Not great for small or delicate projects

Easy to use. Similar to plumbers tape. I wanted to use it in place of Loctite blue on an application that requires the screw to be removed on occasion to clean the unit. Loctite gums up the threads and is difficult to remove.

I used this to make sure the brash head on my cleaner dis not rotate loose when I was washing my RV 13 feet up. This works great! No more loose brush heads!

My vape battery door is stripped, metal on metal and thought this might help. It did not for my perticular use. But im sure its fine.

This product is great for old screws and bolts that are loose in their fittings. But this tape product is NOT for small screws and bolts (under 1/4"). It just bunches up. For small items, you have to use the liquid VC-3, which works very well. The only drawback with the liquid form is that you have to let it dry on the threads for 15 or 20 minutes before assembly.

I utilize this as a quick addition for high use installs that get banged around a bit and loosen due to vibration but also need to be regularly serviced and removed. For light applications it works excellent. For heavier duty I'd always go threadlocker. The positive with this is it's easy to keep on hand, doesn't leak or go bad, and can be removed quite easily.Great on hand addition to my tool kit for screws that otherwise would back out over time.

Product is easy to use with no mess. I used it on a lawnmower blade bolt that kept working loose due to high vibration. I've cut a 2 acre yard 3 times and the bolt is still tight. Best thing since sliced bread!
