This works perfect for me. 2 years ago I ran a 50' length of VGA that went to a KVM switch. Recently I decided to take the KVM out of the picture and connect the same PC to an HDMI switch (and 43" LED TV). Since I didn't feel like buying a 50' HDMI cable, then pull the VGA cable out and run the HDMI in it's place, I figured I'd try this adapter instead. It works fantastic! When I first installed it, Windows had the resolution way off, but a quick change in the display settings fixed that. There's no ghosting, no artifacts, and absolutely no compromise in image quality. I'm very happy that I chose this adapter!

Works as advertised. Takes power from added USB cable. Important to remeber is VGA resolution is much smaller than HDMI resolution thus the image size from my old PC displayed on HDMI TV was about 70% of screen area. Maybe this can be solved from TV settings (maybe some upscale or zoom).

I bought this for my son’s New curved monitor that didn’t have a vga connect on the back bc the pc we have is a little older. It works great! And setup was very easy. I bought about 3 different adapters and this was the cheaper and the only one that worked! Thanks

I use this to use my dreamcast on my 65" 4k 120hz tv and it works AMAZINGLY!! It makes my dreamcast look and feel like I am playing a present day sega console made for 4k tvs, which for now is as good as it can get. It is a great value for the money, very easy to use, it is built very well and not cheap garbage. The connection has been flawless with many hours of use.

Tested on 3 TV's one of the TV's is from the 2012ish range that I repaired. So I'd say its likely compatible with most TV's you'll just have to put it into stretch or zoom mode to get a full picture. It doesn't output Full HD it is a boxed in image but picture is well enough even on a 70"It simply works you may need to use a USB Audio Card or a ground loop isolation device for some older computers with ground loop disturbances for Audio but that is not a fault of the device but your computer.Other things to considerYou need a VGA cable and an HDMI Cable. The only con is if they would've just hacked some VGA cables in half and soldered these on board it would have been cheaper for them and nicer for the consumer cause they wouldn't need a VGA cable only an HDMI would've sufficed. 1 Cable they could have cut in half to build two devices cheaper than placing that female end on their box and folks would've appreciated it while the companies build would likely be cheaper as well.Overall: It does what it sets out to do I'd buy it again.

It is not working, I have it plugged in to my computers VGA, then out to my displays HDMI. I have tried several power sources as well. I will be in contact with the seller and update accordingly.edit: They said they will refund
