This superior evaporator pan is made of 304 food-grade stainless steel, with mirror finished surface. It comes with two 3/4-inch throttle valves, a divider and a water tank, great for making maple syrup. The top edges of the pan are hemmed or "rolled" over. The extra reinforcement creates an exceptionally strong pan that resists warping and makes it easy to handle.

VERY happy with my maple syrup evaporator. Holds up well to open fire wood burning. Thermostat is on point. Spout seals well. Would buy again.

Delivery went well, not damaged. Pieces all accounted for. Assembled with ease, but not for the sake of the instructions, lol. Will update my review after boil tomorrow.

Decided to take a gamble on this given the reviews and lost. My unit came in with pinhole leaks in the welds on the bottom of the pan and horrible welds around the bungs.Aside from the bad QA, it's just not a very good pan. The thermometer bung is way too high off the bottom. The drain bung doesn't allow all the liquid to drain out. You're left with about 1/4" in the bottom you can't get out without tipping the pan. The center divider is just kind of in the way. The protective film on the inside is a HUGE pain to get off, and it's trapped behind the divider and inside all of the pinch seams along the edges of the pan, making it nearly impossible to get out.If you can get this for under $150 and own a TIG welder, go for it. If you want to unbox and go, forget it.

I need to figure out a better setup to get it hotter in a smaller space and shorter amount of time, but definitely a good quality product that I'll be using in the years to come. I did accidentally ruined the temperature gaze but that was my bad and not the company

I purchased this product and it looked great when I received it. I tapped hundreds of trees and when it came time to use it I found out that it leaked all over. Not only one leak but several leaks. It did not hold the maple sap and it screwed up my entire process to make the maple syrup. I am so upset, this is disgusting to find out when you are ready to use it and it leaked all over the place.

Bent hem without removing protective film. Not fun reaching in with a razor knife upside down to try to remove protective film. I can see they grounded the welds on the outside and they’re gonna leak. For this price I would’ve bought a sheet of stainless and tossed it in the break and bent it up myself. If your a good tig welder you don’t have to grind the welds. I see this is the thinnest possible metal to weld I think it’s 1.5mm with the bent hem. Buyer beware

Ordered the product with the warming pan. the first one came badly damaged from shipping. Amazon was fast to send me a replacement the second one that came did not come with a warming pan and the threaded inserts for the warming pan to be mounted talking with Amazon the credited me for the cost of the tool I would need to do the work myself. with that said the quality of the pan is lacking to say the least. I do have to weld food grade welds for my job so I can do the clean up of the horrible welding they have done . (see pictures that are posted). this poor welding will cause rust and contamination of your syrup. the welds for the threaded pipe fittings unlike the pictures they have on there add filler rod was not used as evident by the under cut on the weld and no protection on the back side to prevent the sugaring affect that will cause rust on the food grade inside of the pan. the other issue I have is they did not remove the protective covering on the mirrored surface before folding over the top edge so this plastic covering can now not be removed the issue is that this is going to melt and contaminate the syrup also over time. this is just poor quality workmanship of a product that should be food grade. and is not. the last issue is a real problem for me because I don't know if ill ever be able to use the pan.
